What is a good or rock bottom price for ham. $0.88 seems good to me, but I’d like to know if I should expect to see it any cheaper between now and Christmas or if this is the time to buy. Thanks.
Anything under $1/lb for ham is a good price in my experience, so I’d say stock up at this price.

I was at Cub on Friday. The cashieer said they no longer take any internet coupons. Anyone else had this problem?

I was recently told that too. I argued and they let them go through, but did tell me it was a new policy because they’ve had a lot of fraudulent coupons. I was going to check to see if they have a coupon policy or e-mail corporate.

I didn’t argue, there was a long line waiting and my kids were getting too squirrley. I just left. But I checked their web site whenI got home and didn’t see anything against internet coupons. I did write to thier corporate office complaining that there was no notice given before I arrived at the check out of this sudden and uncommunicated change in their coupon policy. I included my reciept as well as my coupons and laid ot my ‘losses’ due to this sudden change in policy. I don’t expect any response but a gift certificate for the nearly $10.00 I was out might be nice :)
However, I was at a different cub today, she took my internet coupons without a second thought.

What is the reason you want to do multiple trans at Cub? If it’s to use the same in ad store coups from their ad I would say no.

Jessie – You can do multiple, but my personal rule of thumb is no more than 2 transactions at a time. I set that rule for myself because 1) I am a rule follower, and 2) to be courteous to the customers behind me.

I usually do 2 transactions to maximize my $5/$50 coupons. Tonight I did this.

I have some Kraft Cheese internet coupons that say $5 off 5 items. Expired Oct 4. Has anyone tried using this expired coupon this week? It would be good combined with the Kraft cheese sale price.
I have never had a problem using expired coupons at the Northtown Cub. I keep a personal rule of 3 months expired or less. Anything more than that I give to the military. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
I used one yesterday when I went grocery shopping. I believe it beeped, but was pushed through by my cashier after he read it.
I’ve been able to use mine in the past but the cashier was a bit worried about the coupon so found a manager to make sure it wasn’t a bad coupon. Checked out fine and all.

Just an FYI – Aldi’s regular price on 13oz corn tortilla chips is .99 (and they taste just fine for those who are skeptics. There is no MSG and no Trans Fat…all natural.) But the cheapest place to get tortillas that I have found is costco. The mission tortilla strips are $3.39/48 oz bag.
