I have never shopped black Friday before. I am interested in some Menards items. Has anyone had an experience with Menards on black Friday? Is it less chaotic or crowded than other stores on black Friday? They have a 5 hour am sale— has anyone ever been to this? Thanks in advance for sharing any Menards Black Friday Experience. I went to Menards last year, and it was pretty crazy – the line wrapped around the building and there was lots of pushing and shoving and getting run over by carts once you got into the store. So yes, it is just as crazy as other stores! But they did seem to be pretty well stocked and had employees trying to help people find things amidst the chaos!
My experience at the Forest Lake Menard’s for Black Friday is it’s pretty crazy – not quite as much as Kohl’s, Sears, etc.
i have been to the menards at MG. when the doors opened a crowd of people emerged from their cars and stormed the doors much to the dismay of the people waiting in line outside in the cold. inside the line to check out took over an hour. as people have noted they did have plenty of employees around the store so ask where the items you want are.
I did the Black Friday sale at the Burnsville Menard’s two years ago, and yes there were long lines at the check out and a lot of people shopping — but Menard’s seemed to have an employee every ten feet and all had been very well trained on the exact location of every item in their ad. Not only that, they would take you right to it too!
I found $4 off a 30 pack of Rayovac batteries at Fleet Farm on a display, the limit is 4 at Menards so I’ll be using those on Friday!! SWEET!!
Can someone help clarify for me, we’re buying a house and need the ceiling tiles for the basement, so I can submit 64 $1.00 MIR’s for these? So if the limit is 4-you can submit 4 MIR’s for the item?
Yes, you would get a rebate receipt printed with your regular receipt for up to 64 tiles purchased (or whatever the stated limit is for an item) and would submit it with one rebate form for a store credit rebate.
In the ad I have, the 22″ LED TV is 199.00 with a 100 Rebate; where did you see the 299.99/199.99?? Thanks!!
