Actually, Carrie, I *think* the deal is $5.99 for TWO of the packs. Even better!
I was thinking about picking a couple up for my parents’ cabin, as their guests frequently go up for the day and then can’t seem to bring themselves to leave at night. Since it’s often me, maybe I’d end up with one at some point. :)
Renee – Really? Awesome – I’m definitely ordering it then! Love the idea of keeping it at your parents’ cabin. I’m thinking of leaving one in the car and one at my parents’ house (or my in-laws’ house as we sometimes have impromptu overnight stays there, too).
I just ordered one for myself – it now says limit 1 per customer.
I just clicked on the link and was limited to a quantity of 1. I still ordered it!
just got it….don’t know what I’m going to do with it, but it looked fun! =) Might give it as a gift for my sis-in-law who loves burt’s bees.
I did 2 seperate transactions and it went through :)
I LOVE Burt’s Bees!!
Although I am a litte confused on the “2 pack” does that mean that with $5.99 you get 2 travel packs?? I’m hoping so!! :)
Pang – Not sure. I’ll guess we’ll see when we get the order in. :)
There was a limit of one when I placed my order – I didn’t understand the 2 pack notation (burt’s lip balm and body lotion maybe?) – I would have liked to buy more for gifts for the travelers on my list.
Thanks for the link!
I just placed an order. Although it says free shipping on the website, I got charged $6.79 for shipping (reflected in the email I received summarizing my order). I’m not sure if there’s something wrong with their website now. I sent an email inquiry.
Debbie – Is there any way you can still cancel your order and try it again? You need to select “Budget” shipping to get free shipping.
Debbie, it automatically selects the standard shipping option for $6.79 on the checkout page, so you have to manually select the “Budget Shipping” option to get it for free. Maybe you could call them and cancel the order or ask them to switch the shipping option??
I also ordered one just because, not sure if I will keep it or give as a gift for Christmas! Love great deals-thanks!
Just got this after my order confirmation email!! Oh no!
“Buy.com just sent you a refund
Buy.com just sent you a full refund of $5.99 USD for your purchase. If you have any questions about this refund, please contact Buy.com.
The refund will go to the card you paid with.” =(
okay….I think it was because we just moved and when my shipping address was different than my paypal accound it automatically canceled it. problem solved. :)
Now it says that there is a limit of two. It also says that they are two packs so I will have to see if I end up with four!!
I just ordered and it limited me to two. Still, not a bad deal!
It says limit of 2 but then it only let me order 1. Looks like an awesome stocking stuffer for my daughter!!
I know this is off-topic, but I didn’t know where to post it. You can get a free sleep kit from Tylenol by going to the following link:
http://www.heyitsfree.net/2010/11/05/free-tylenol-sleep-kit/
Sometimes it’s hard to get the sleep you need. So the makers of TYLENOL® PM have designed a Sleep Solution Kit to help with your sleep needs. Each kit includes:
Sleep guide and journal featuring practical tips for better sleep
Satin sleep mask to help block out intrusive light
CD of soothing sounds
Coupons worth up to $12
Sample of JOHNSON’S® Melt Away Stress Lavender & Chamomile Lotion
FYI – most every item in this pouch except for the Burts Bees has the American Airlines logo on them. Look at the enlarged product photos on the website. This is an actual amenity kit the airlines gives out – I got one when I flew business class to Europe this summer. Probably not something I would give as a gift…
This is now sold out..
The majority of the travel pack are products of American Airlines… however this wouldn’t stop me from giving it as a gift. The limit was 1 per order when I visited the site. I bought one and I plan to spruce it up a little before wrapping… I have a bunch of sample size burts bee products from when I bought a pack of miniature’s.
You could also add any other small items that would suit the idea … my ideas are:
a travel size soy candle
a deck of cards
a small notebook
upgrade the AA pen to a nicer pen
candy
a small book
I certainly wouldn’t be offended being the receiver of this gift despite the AA logo, especially if it had other (even inexpensive) goodies in it!
I just received my order. I had order 2@$5.99 each. They are actually 2 packs so I ended up with for $11.98. They are the same travel packs that I have received while traveling. I also ordered the Burts Bees package. I plan to mix and match for a couple of gifts. My sister and Neice are going to Madagascar so I think they would enjoy this.
I just received mine, and I guess I wish I would have realized all the items would be labeled American Airlines. I do not feel a bunch of AA stamped free samples are fit to give as gifts. I will use them myself, but wouldn’t give them away, having people think I got them as free samples anyway. Oh-well. At least I only spent $5.99.
