Plymouth has their annual Open House on Oct. 16th from noon – 3. Kids can get a free pumpkin by completing a safety flier or bringing in a non-perishable food item. Not sure if you can print the flier online, mine came home from the kids school. We’ve been there the last few years, it’s VERY busy so plan on walking a distance with your pumpkin. And, mine have always gotten rather large pumpkins, good for carving!
We went to Barten Pumpkins this past weekend and had a great time! I love the family atmosphere, and all the fun FREE activities for the kids! A great selection of pumpkins that are reasonably priced makes it a perfect fall weekend destination for a family on a budget!!!

I am a fan of the MN State Fair and I got a note on the Half Price Book Sale for this weekend at the MN State Fair Grounds. I didn’t realize that the sale included DVD’s and CD’s. I just may have to check it out! Thanks PYD!
