Looking for a new coat for late fall/early winter? JCPenney has discounted their St. John’s Bay Classic Pea Coat down to $39.99-$44.99 (previously $200.00-$225.00). This is a wool/nylon/cashmere blend with a polyester lining and gets a 4.9 out of 5 rating from previous JCPenney customers.
Plus, shop through Ebates or ShopAtHome to get an extra 3% cash back on your purchase + $5 if you’re new to either cashback site.
I (Laura) am still wearing my winter pea coat I got at Herberger’s several years back. It cost $10 on clearance with a coupon and has held up relatively well (except for a few small holes in the pockets). It may be time to invest in a new coat at the end of this winter season, though.
Your turn: Where do you pick up new coats at the beginning of the season if you didn’t get one on clearance last year?

Laura-
My daughter and I were shopping this weekend and this style of coat caught her eye. Is this a warm coat. I have heard wool is warm. I get nervous when it comes to the kids. Is it a coat that will keep your warm from your car to the door or is it warm enough to send you child outside in WI/MN for recess for 45 min?
I ordered one of these coats yesterday and JCP just called today to say they don’t have it in stock. Whatever, then keep your website up to date as it is still on there right now as available.
I always shop at Turnstyle for LOW prices and a great selection! PS – Sarah – the key to Minnesota winter survival is layering!
