It is a natural human desire to want to help others in need, but sometimes the craziness of life and/or a tight budget can hold us back from doing so. Well, I would like to share with you an amazingly simple and easy way you can help those in need. It’s called the Click to Give program and is completely free. All you have to do is take a minute out of each day to visit the Click to Give website, click on a cause you would like to help and select the ‘Click to Give’ button. That’s it! You don’t even need to register or provide an email address.
How it Works
The concept of simply clicking on a link to help a charity may sound too good to be true, but it’s not. How it works is once you click on one of the links supporting a specific cause (which includes animal care, feeding the poor, stopping child abuse and homelessness, fighting cancer and sponsoring a child), you will be able to read about the specific organization the funds will be donated to.
Once you decide what cause you would like to help, you click the ‘Click to Give’ button where you will be redirected to a ‘Thank You’ page filled with advertisements. Advertisers pay a fee to have those ads featured and in exchange, earn revenue every time that page is viewed. Instead of pocketing that money, they donate 100% of the proceeds to the cause that linked to their advertisements.
How You Can Help
All you have to do is take one minute (OK, even less than that) out of each day to click on a cause – most of us are probably already on the computer at least once a day so this shouldn’t be too hard. The site even has the option for you to register and receive a daily reminder to click. Every single click helps!
Earn Rewards
Perhaps the best reward you can earn from Click to Give is the satisfaction of helping a cause, but on top of that, you can also earn points redeemable for free merchandise. You do, however, have to create a free account in order to earn points for your clicks. An added benefit of registering is you can see specifically how your clicks are helping each cause.

It’s not charity (unless you count me and my family! haha), but swagbucks!
Anyone remember what that one is that donates rice to the UNICEF or something like that for searching or playing games?

There are 6 tabs across the top where you can click to give.
I just made up a “grab bag” for a Benefit for a young man with a brain tumor. That’s one of the great things couponers can do with their stockpile of personal care items or household items. My bag had a retail price of $146.00 & will be great for a silent auction.
I get a daily reminder from http://www.freekibble.com to answer their trivia question to help feed shelter animals. I also go to freerice.com on occasion. Since I have been following PYD for the past 16 months, I have donated to the humane society and my local food shelf more than I otherwise would donate in 5+ years. I just have a bag in my laundry room for each and if there is something that is free or close to it I get it even if it is something my family won’t use because I know I can donate it and someone else can use it. It feels wonderful to be able to pay it forward and teach my kids that you should always find a way to be charitable.
