As you get started shopping at Target we’d recommend getting familiar with Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy. You may want to bring printouts of these with you to the store so that you have them in case you run into issues. If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, learn how to read this shopping list or troubleshoot problems when printing coupons.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Target fanatics should check out the ever-changing supply of Target online coupons, be sure to sign up for Target’s text-messaged coupons and browse Target’s weekly ad online.

On-Going Deals (Previously listed)
These items are listed from lowest final price to highest (and then my totally anal-retentive self ordered items that have the final price from lowest to highest starting price and then a third sort alphabetically. I say that only so you can tease me about my extreme love for patterns and ordered lists). Please leave a comment if a printable coupon is out of prints or the product is no longer at the specified price (maybe it was a temporary price cut?) and we will update the list to reflect that.

It’s actually a $10 GC when you buy the 2 Luvs deal. Even better!!
They have Nabisco buy 3 for $2.79 each get one free. Use the Nabisco FB coupon (buy cookies and a gallon of milk and get pkg of cookie free)–so you buy 2 get 2 free. You can also use the .50 Target mobile coupon to make it a even better deal.
Had a “last straw” moment yesterday at Target when I realized they rounded down their own coupon. $1/2 was rounded down to the lowest price of one item. The week before coupons were rounded down when they were attached to the wrong items. I decided that until I hear that their computer glitch is fixed, I won’t be shopping there any more. They know there is a problem, they need to fix it.
And Hormel bone in pork chops were on sale @ Richfield Hwy 77 for $4.99 not $1.99.
I absolutely agree with you Teresa. I leave the store frustrated every time and it’s just not worth it.
It is SO frustrating. I just avoid any of those deals where I know I’m going to be ripped off. Hopefully they’ll get enough complaints that they’ll actually do something about it!
I can’t seem to find the $3/3 Band-aid coupon from the 8/1 SS…any ideas?
I found mine from smartsource coupon pack. Not sure what week it’s from? It has a vision world ad on the front.
Sorry just realized I was thinking about the Johnson’s First Aid To Go Kits. Disregard my last post :)
Is the $1 Tums printable still available from Redplum? I’m not seeing it on there.
e: It is a target coupon. You can find it at Target.com.
The clean and clear printable states that it excludes travel size.
Avent bottles are on sale at target this week….. 5 pack 9 oz bottles for 20.00. I also found a 2.00 off coupon for Avent bottles or magic cup, but I’m really not sure what week of coupons I got it from. It was probably from the past couple months. Does any one know if this is a good deal for these bottles? It would be 18.00 for 5- 9 oz Avent bottles.
Joanna: Use the Nabisco FB coupon (buy cookies and a gallon of milk and get pkg of cookie free)
Sorry…I don’t know what the FB coupon might be? Thanks for the help.
Susan–the coup is no longer available this month. If you “like/fan” Nabisco’s FB page you can print a coupon at the start of each month.
FB = Facebook.
Went to Target on Sunday with my new coupons for the $2 off kids denim & bought two pairs of shorts in the clearance section for $2.50 each. Got home & checked my reciept & they only took $2 off , not $4. I watched the cashier scan the Q. It was the register. I am so tired of going to Customer Service. Every time I shop there I end up in CS. When are they going to fix the machines? If the machines were giving us the advantage it would be fixed faster than you could say RIp-OFF.
Isn’t that the truth!!
Just got a letter in the mail, starting Oct. 17th, all purchases made with Target Redcard, debit or credit, you get 5% off your total everyday! With the Target Debit card, it comes right out of your checking, so you are not charging and racking up interest. For me 5% off at Target all the time is a great deal! Getting the Debit card was very easy too, right at the register. Thought you Target lovers would want to know!!!
I can’t seem to find the printable LaCroix water coupon… I went through all of the Beverages and Foods, but I didn’t find it–maybe it’s expired?
Joanna…thanks for the reply!
Susan: anytime :)
Nabisco Cookie deal:
Buy 5 packages of Oreos ($2.49-$2.54 @ my Target in CR)
Buy 2 gal of milk
Use 2 Nabisco BOGO coupons available yesterday on FB
Plus, Target “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” Deal
= 5 packages of Oreos for $5!
We can easily go through 2 gallons of milk before the expiration date (9/24) and we needed some anyway so the Oreos will be a nice special treat for us! And there are several recipes I’ve been wanting to try that call for Oreos!
Claire-why do you need to buy 5? I thought 4 would work (1 free from Target, and 2 free with the bogo coupons)–so you pay for one pkg and one gallon of milk.
Hmm, you may be right, I’d have to think about it. But you would still have to buy 2 gal of milk if you use 2 of the coupons.
Oops-2 gallons of milk and 4 pkgs.
I think you’re right, it might work to just buy 4. Oh well, I’m still happy that I got 5 for $5!
The Target denim apparel coupon link doesn’t work- it goes to a different PYD page.
Beth-
You can go to Target’s website on your own, go to the bottom of the page and click on Target coupons.
Was at Super target in Baine, they have Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper on sale for 1$
AND if you buy 3 Pepsi products for $9 you get a 6 pk of snapple (all flavors) FREE
I didn’t see it on the grocery list so if it’s listed, sorry for the double up.
Hi I was wondering if someone could help me out with getting coupons in the mail from Target. I have friends that receive coupons in the mail, and I never get them. I would love to be able to save some money, and get the coupons in the mail? If you have any advice please let me know. Thanks much – Michele
Michele-that is an often asked question that we haven’t found an answer to yet. You can try contacting corporate but they seem to be no help.
Michele,
I am very blessed that I do receive coupons from Target. I have never had a target card, never ordered online and never signed up to receive them. I do however live about a mile and a half from the Roseville Super Target. I have relatives that live not much father then that from the Midway Target and they never receive any coupons in the mail. I’ve wondered if it’s a “targeted” advertising issue. Like the article that Carrie did about different coupons being in the paper depending on your location. Just like different Target locations have different percentages off on their clearance. Just wanted to put that out as a possibility. Also, the coupons that I have used from these mailing seem to be the same ones that are available online. Maybe next time I get one I’ll check and see if there are any that are not available to print online.
Hope this helps clear up some of the questions.
I just recently went to Target with multiple Tide coupons. I tried to use them on the trial size…and the manager informed me that because the coupon says “one per purchase” that this meant I could only use one coupon per transaction. He said this is something they have just been inforcing the last couple of weeks. I personally think he was making it up! I even said that the last time I checked Target’s copon policy was to reduce the coupon to the price of the product (as long as I get it for free I am find with it!)…but this didn’t sway him. VERY IRRITATING!!!
At Knollwood Target yesterday, a rack of sale DVDs by the checkout included Dora the Explorer “Saves the Day” DVD for $4.75. With the $3 off any Dora DVD Target printable, it’s $1.75.
There is another Dora movie (pirate something) the shelf price was $5 so with the $3 target coupon makes it $2.
I went round and round and round with a manager at Maple Grove last Friday on what “transaction” means. He tried to tell me that a transaction means a store visit and if I go thru checkouts ten times that’s one transaction. So I asked him why each receipt has it’s own individual identificiation used for returns etc, he could not answer that, but still told me that a transaction could mean tens times thru the checkouts, but counts as one transaction….what a laugh I had!!!!
Sometimes I wonder if anybody has any sense of Customer Satisfaction any more. I am a manager at a major retailer and let me tell you, I will do whatever I can to be sure that every customer that walks into my store leaves feeling appreciated, satisfied and wanting to return. Some of my experiences and those of others I hear make me cringe. How little it takes to keep people happy and returning and places just don’t want to budge. It’s very frustrating.
I used the $2 off kid’s denim on infant clothing a few weeks ago. Found some pants on clearance for less than $2 so it ended up being FREE!
Lisa – Thanks for sharing! I wish that the $2 coupon was still available so I could pick up some cheap baby jeans, myself. Oh well.
I know a saw a deal on CH chang meals. I think that’s the name & now I can’t find it. Was it Target or another store?
Regarding receiving coupons… my brother used to work at Target corporate customer service. He says that it is totally random and there is no way to sign up for coupons. I used to get them, but we moved so I no longer do…. bummer for us! He also said he got tons of phone calls about this and there was nothing he could do. Oh well!
I went to the Edina Super Target today during my lunch break to pick up some Huggies. I had the Target issued $3.50 off diapers and wipes, $3.00 off 60 ct or larger (Target), 2 manufactured coupon for $3.00 off diapers and a $2.00 off wipes (larger box). I tried to use them all, thinking I had the right amount of Target to Man. coupons, but it wouldn’t go through. The cashier determined it was because the $3.50 Target coupon is counted as one set and you can’t use 2 man. coupons with it, only one. Bummer!!! I decided to use 2 Target $3.00 coupons for diapers and 2 $3.00 manufactured coupons and do the wipes the same way. I think this is a better deal anyway. Not sure if it’s like this at other stores, but it was a hassle.
My Target did not have the Yogurt. I walked out with nothing. :( I’ve found that I can’t buy more than a couple of items at a time because I need to watch the registers so close. I’ve had to walk to customer service to return afterwards many times (especially at Walgreens), this is so frustrating but since we usually get the coupon value back at least there is that.
I don’t see the Armor All coupons on FB? Also the Armor All rebate link just links back to Target coupons. Here is the correct Armor All Wheel Protectant rebate link: http://www.armorall.com/pdf/wheel_rebate.pdf
I just got a Target ad in the mail yesterday – probably because our smaller Target was just remodeled to have more groceries. Among other things, the Market Pantry bag of frozen chicken breasts is on sale for $4.99 through Sept. 18. I just printed a $2 off Market Pantry frozen chicken breasts coupon from Target.com coupons. So that will be a really good deal. (sorry, I had posted this on Open Mic by mistake earlier)
This week’s list is pretty spotty. Your links are expired or lead to the wrong place (i.e. Ocean Spray coupon or Campbell’s to just name two)
Ugh. I feel like I completely wasted my time with this list.
Jo – I understand your frustration and am sorry about that. With the on-going deals portion of the list, we can’t always keep tabs on which coupons are still available, so we rely on readers like you to email us or leave a comment when a link is no longer working. We will then check into the problem and remove the sale item/link if necessary. I’ll look into the Ocean Spray and Campbell’s coupon and remove them ASAP. Please let us know if there are any others that aren’t working. Thanks!
One more thing – I found the Campbell’s coupon through the link and it seemed to work for me (although I’ve already printed it). Was it out of prints for you?
Is it just me but the target coupons are printing different now there’s some kind of barcode and it says “catalina marketing” weird
I’m new here & having a blast finding steals & printing coupons. My hubby is certain that I’ll spend a fortune on printer ink…lol. I like to do my shopping after Saturday’s mail comes. This way I can see both weeks ads at Cub and Rainbow, and don’t do something silly like PAY for grapes at Cub on a Saturday afternoon when they are 1lb free the very next day.
When I bought Luvs today …there is a $15 coupon book inside the Luvs package…I’m using the 2 $1.00 off mfr coupons to go back for diapers again tonight, along with the $1.00/1 Target register coupon & $10.00 gift card. I’ll get another $10 GC! Yay!
I also scored a deal on Quaker Chewy Granola bars today at Target with a $3 off 5 mfr coupon from Rainbow ad that landed today and 6 x 50c off 1 Target coupons from the back of notebooks purchased at Target. The bars are $2/box & B3G1Free.
12.00 buy 6 @ $2
-4.00 buy 3 get 1 free (twice)
-3.00 mfr coupon (Rainbow)
-3.00Target coupons (notebooks)
$2.00 for 6 boxes!!
