The Target in Fridley was handing out these great little coupon booklets yesterday (Sunday) at their free sample stands. Packed with high value coupons for Market Pantry (i.e. Target store brand) merchandise – especially frozen foods. Expiration dates I think were the end of October. Some of the items are on sale this week too, making them an even better deal.
Worth keeping an eye out for these. They’re small, about the size of index cards, with a red cover.
Has anyone checked out the Pampers or Huggies deal to see what the price per diaper is? I don’t know the quanity in the packs to know if this is a good deal or not.
The Pure and Natural diapers are 19.79 for the big pack. Even with a $3 Target coupon and a $3 MC and counting in 2.50 for the gift card, they are 20 cents each. The Snug ‘n Drys might be a little cheaper, depending on your coupons, but probably not much. I don’t know about Pampers.
After trying to figure every possible scenario with the coupons I had, I found it was just cheaper for me to get a box of Luvs with two $1 coupons. Plus, the Luvs come with a $15 coupon book for stuff including Gain, Duracell, Luvs and more.
I forgot to say that was for size 4. Smaller sizes would be a bit cheaper per dipe.
The sweet potatoes are a reasonable price at $.69. I see them for that at Cub fairly often but they are always more at Target. Not a stock up bargain, but good enough to keep me from making another stop at Cub.
The Connect 4 game is 6.99 at Toys R Us and some of the other games are a few dollars cheaper than Target as well….
Just tried out the new Eagan Pfresh for my weekly grocery shopping. They were printing off (like Catalina) coupons last week for $5 off $50 purchase (of anything in store) so I started with that to help. Progresso Soups (meat & veggie flavors, not just veggie) were on sale for $1.49 and I had 3 coupons for .50 off 2 each. Quaker Chewy bars were on sale for 2.04. Some boxes had a bonus of 2 extra (so 12 bars) plus most boxes have a code for 2 free music downloads. Also had a .75 off 2 coupon. They still have ground chuck for 1.99/lb. Eggs are .99/dozen this week as well.
I didn’t really compare closely, but I came out cheaper than I usu do at Cub early in the week (I often go twice/week to get fresh produce when we run out) and that included contact solution, cold meds, a pr of socks (on clearance!) and a few other odds & ends.
Complaints? Belt isn’t really long enough for a big grocery order. They don’t have paper bags like at SuperTarget so you end up with a gazillion plastics if you forget or don’t bring enough reusable bags. Checkers don’t seem trained to be grocery checkers yet although they did have some food before so you’d think they’d know where to put eggs, bread, etc. and not to mix toiletries with foodstuffs.
None of the Target’s with Groceries know how to bag properly!!! LOL
With the Disney coupon, Tinker Bell is actually cheaper at CVS. Once you count the reward dollars, it will only be $4.99. :D
Leapfrog Leapster Explorer Games are $24.99 at Target. We bought one last week. They are on sale this week for $17. Then the Coupon this week (9/19/2010) in paper for $5 off makes it $12. This is a STEAL…… I am surprised that this was not mentioned in your list,

The coupon for the Leapster games specifically says $5 off Leapster game that is $19 or more. So, you cannot use it on the games that are marked down to $17 this week.
Don’t forget to go back with your receipt within 7 days and they’ll adjust for the sale price. Or maybe its two weeks….all my different store policies are crossing this morning. :)
Yesterday at the Brooklyn Park Target they were handing out coupon books at the Pharmacy Desk. All coupons are Target Coupons and book is worth over $40 in savings. Books includes a Free $10 Target Gift card with new or transferred prescription coupon. Many of the coupons are $1, $2, or $5 off various medications and health aids. Big find for me was $5 off two Triaminic childrens medications from the coupon book, paired with mfg coupon for $2 off two purchase.

Lisas – the coupon is no longer on the Target web site :-( They usually remove coupons from the site (just like many other sites with coupons) once a certain number of people have printed the coupon.

Don’t know if people have posted this in previous lists but Walmart’s Maruchan Yakisoba are $0.48 for the regular price. So with the coupon, it’s free.
7th Generation laundry detergent is on sale for $12.99 and there was a coupon for $1 off in the 08-08 RP insert. The lowest I have ever paid is $10.99 at the coop. That rarely happens so this is a pretty good deal.

The Target $0.75 coupon states Limit one coupon or offer per transaction, so you shouldn’t be allowed to use 3 in one transaction…correct?

Does anyone have any trouble printing Target coupons ever? I’ve installed the coupon plugin…and the last the time I printed, it worked. Today…I’ve tried and tried…nothing. If you have a suggestion, please pass it along!
Re; target coupon not printing….try turning off your pop-up blocker.I have a mac and my husband put a pop-up blocker on and I couldn’t print target coupons for the longest time…I JUST figured this out..on my mac this is under the safari pull down bar…hope this helps!!!
I don’t know what browser you’re using, but I found that Google Chrome doesn’t seem to work with a number of coupon sites, but Internet Explorer does. I recently had to download Chrome because another piece of software no long worked with IE only to find that I had trouble with coupons. My tech support son recommends Firefox.

The Land ‘o Lakes was not 74 cents at my Target (W. St. Paul), it was 1.07. Plus, the coupon was for 50 cents off two. They are a pretty small container so it wasn’t worth it for me.
I tried every possible scenario with the diapers and coupons I have (even combining $3 off coupons) and can’t get the per diaper lower than 20 cents, so unless you’re stuck on Pure and Natural diapers, I don’t think it is a good deal. The Huggies wipes tubs are definitely good though!
As much as I love Target, I can’t let myself go there very often because I always spend way more than I intend to, even with coupons. :(

In my experience Target doesnt accept expired.
Vadnais Heights Target has accepted my expired coupons twice – I even asked first and both said if it scans they accept.
North STP Target missed two of my Mfg coupons for the Kisses last night. I went to customer service and they bent over backwards to get me the 2.00 it missed….The other 4 coupons for Kraft dressing worked, only the Hershey’s didn’t.
Target in Brooklyn Park has the Glade Sense & Spray Starter Kit marked down to $5.00. I used $3/1 from 8/22 Smart Source insert (exp 9/25) plus, used $3/1 Glade Sense & Spray Starter Kit Target coupon from 9/12 Smart Source insert (exp 9/25) and it took both off my price. Not sure if it matters but the cashier took the Target coupon first. Final price: Made $1
Is 3.49 good for a 50oz Tide? I am on the fence about getting a couple this week. I prefer Tide Free for our clothes and use whatever I can get cheap for towels, sheets etc.

The SuperTarget in Plymouth takes expired coupons as long as the register does not beep when they are scanned…per one of the managers I asked there a couple months ago. He could not give me a time frame as far as how far back they will take them. He just said as long as they don’t beep they will take them.
However the regular Target closer to my house will not take expired coupons. So when I know I need to use expired ones for a better deal I go a few more miles down the road to the SUper Target.
I went to Target last night and only the Tinkerbell Leapster Explorer Game is $17, the rest is $19.99 and above so the $5 coupon can be used. Just an FYI…..
I went to Target today to do the Pampers diaper deal, but I left a couple of coupons at home. Does anyone know if I can get credit for them with the receipt at Customer Service? I know some stores will do this, has anyone tried this at Target?
I suppose I could return them and repurchase them if I had to…

I had a person in front of me at Customer Service at Target that brought in her receipt and her coupons. The CSR took the coupons and gave her the cash!! This was in Lino Lakes, MN. Hope this helps. :-)

At the Knollwood Super Target the Glade Sense and Sprays are $5.54, so it makes them free with the 2 coupons mentioned in Carrie’s list.
The spreadable Land of Lakes butter link printed a 50 cents off 1 for me. So that makes it a really good deal – better than making it myself which is what I usually do (and I was able to use it for the kind that is butter/olive oil rather than canola oil). But they are 98 cents at Knollwood, not 74 cents or whatever price is mentioned on the list. Must vary by Target.
Market Pantry sugar (5 lb) is on sale for $2.14 instead of $3.79 at that Super Target as well.
Make sure you watch carefully at Target this week if you’re doing the Huggies wipes deal. The $2.50 off 3 coupon is only ringing up at $1.99 which is the pre-coupon value of a single package.
