Free Haircuts at Supercuts Studio. Once again, Supercuts Studio training facility in Anoka (3750 Thurston Ave) is accepting walk-ins for free haircuts today (9/22) from 1:30-4:30pm and Thursday and Friday (9/23 and 9/24) from 10am-1pm and 2-4pm. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. Since this is a training facility, you can also expect your haircut to take a bit longer than usual as the instructor will need to check on the stylist’s progress. The haircut is free, but they do accept tips. (I – Laura – went a couple of months ago to check it out.)
Eden Prairie Art Crawl features the art of Eden Prairie residents in their personal home studios or at the Art Center on 9/25 from 10am-5pm and 9/26 from 12-6pm. Visit the studios of artists exhibiting pottery, painting, jewelry, photography and more.
Folwell Park Dog Daze. Bring your dogs for a day of fun and exercise in the park on Saturday, September 25 from 11am-3pm at Folwell Park (1615 Dowling Ave N) in Minneapolis. There will be entertainment, food, resources, and displays available. For more information, call 612.370.4917.
Food Allergy Resource Fair. This free event at the Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins is your opportunity to sample products, collect coupons, and purchase products directly from allergy-friendly food and product companies. This event will be held on Saturday, 9/25 from 9am-12pm and is sponsored by the Food Allergy Support Group of MN.
Emerald Greens Golf Club in Hastings. Kids under 13 golf for free on Sundays after 3pm with one paid adult, and the second child under 13 pays just $5. Avid golfers will enjoy this opportunity to introduce their children to the lifelong sport of golf.

Do you know if Supercuts will do kid’s haircuts at their training facility?
Erika – Yes, they do. At least they did when I was there.
There’s also a pet fair in Shakopee this Saturday 9-11 AM at Lion’s Park (1243 Adams St S). They will have vendors, pet parade, door prizes (woohoo). Pets are welcome (though they need to be leashed and have current vaccinations, of course). Almost all the vendors have giveaways, so it’s pretty likely you’ll walk away with at least some goodies! :)
