If you suffer from cold sores, listen up. Zovirax, a prescription cream that treats cold sores, is offering an instant rebate. The rebate requires you to pay the first $15 out-of-pocket, but will cover the next $35 worth of a co-pay. Should you normally pay more than $50, then you’re responsible for the amount in excess of $50 as well.
Here’s how to get this discount:
—Complete this registration form (if that form doesn’t work, then use this other form)
— Print the instant rebate form
— Receive and fill a prescription for Zovirax
—Present the instant rebate form at the pharmacy to receive a discount at the time of purchase
The form does say “not valid with any other offers” so I assume that you cannot also use a coupon to get a $10 gift card on a new prescription, if you had one, at the same time as this rebate form. You will, however, earn loyalty points for filling the prescription (if your pharmacy has some time of rewards program).
For other prescription discounts, if you’re unemployed check out Pfizer’s MAINTAIN program.
This isn’t exactly free, but I try to pass along any discount on prescription medications since they can expensive.
Your turn: How do you treat cold sores?
