*Back Again* Groupon: Pay $10 for $20 Soap.com Credit + Free Shipping (9/30 Only)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

It’s back again today! The Groupon for Los Angeles today is $20 of credit to Soap.com for $10, which includes free 2-day shipping. Soap.com is a sister company to Diapers.com that sells all sorts of personal care items. Compared to many websites, I think Soap.com’s prices are reasonable – certainly more than a great sale at my local drugstore, but reasonable for a website. You can only redeem one Soap.com Groupon per person, so if you’ve already redeemed one then you’ll have to pass.

I bought one the first time it was available and ordered 4 boxes of Cascade (75-ounce) shipped for $10.50, making them just over $2.50 per box, which is a decent price. Not to mention they came right to my door and I didn’t need a coupon.

This deal, which is essentially a 50% offer, could be good for families that are loyal to brands that rarely go on sale or maybe you live in a rural area without access to many of the stellar deals we city slickers routinely see. Or, maybe you are the type that hates coupon shopping, loves having things shipped to your house and this gets you a deal on things you’d pay full price for anyway.

A couple things that caught my eye are the natural and organic brands like Seventh Generation and Burt’s Bees – whether for yourself or as a gift for someone else. Plus, some of the protein bars and protein powders are already on sale, plus this Groupon’s discount would make for some great deals.

If you’ve never purchased a Groupon here’s what you need to do:

— Visit Groupon.com for Los Angeles

— Click on the “Buy” button after reading the fine print (I don’t see anything surprising in the fine print, but it is a good practice)

— Log back into your Groupon account tomorrow when your certificate will appear.

— Use the to-be-provided code on a purchase at Soap.com to get $20 of products for $10, plus free shipping

You can only redeem one certificate per person. The credit is good only at Soap.com, not at Diapers.com.

Your turn: What did you think of the prices at Soap.com? What do you plan to buy with this Groupon?

Do you think soap.com will honor another Groupon coupon if you used one from the Long Island promotion? It does say one per household. I bought one for myself and one as a gift for my mom on the Long Island promotion. I could not get the second onet to work on my computer (Mom doesn’t have a computer) as it said the coupon was used, they did make it right for me but told me that some sort of cookie is placed on the computer to keep people from using more then one coupon.

Thanks for posting these deals from other cities! I used the last one to buy Hefty Trash bags. They were a better price than at Sam’s Club before the half off! I’m hoping I won’t have a problem with cookies since I made my last purchase on a work computer!
