Free Redbox Movie Rental (Exp 9/30)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

The Pocket Your Dollars community is not the only one celebrating an amazing milestone this week – so is Redbox! In honor of reaching over 1 billion movie rentals, Redbox is giving everyone one free movie rental through Sept. 30.

To get a promo code for your free rental, you need to rent a movie from a Redbox Kiosk near you. Then locate the DVD code on the inner ring of the disc (in the white part) and enter it on the Thanks a Billion Giveaway website. You will receive a code good for a free one-night movie rental instantly. Code expires 7 days from issue date, only one free promo code per person.

Make this deal even better by using a promo code to get your first rental free, too. Codes that are still good include:

DVDATWAG (good at Walgreens locations only)
DVDONME
BREAKROOM

Each promo code can be used once per credit/debit card.

In addition to a free rental, you will also get a chance to win 1 of 50 Golden Code Prizes for a $500 gift card that can be used towards a new flat-screen TV or Blu-Ray player and a chance to win the Golden Grand Prize for a trip for two to the People’s Choice Awards or a Sony Home Entertainment System.

Your turn: What other free Redbox codes do you know of that are still valid?

RedBox’s version of Buy One Get One Free I guess!

I tried all 3 codes and none worked. It said “this code has been ued before”, which I’m not sure if “I” have used it before or what? Not sure, just thought I’d share.

I’ve used the codes that Carrie has mentioned – breakroom, dvdonme, and they work great. But, if you’ve used them, it will say “this code has been used before.” Can you try a different credit/debit card? Since you don’t actually get charged, it might be worth it.
