CampusFundraiser: Opportuntiy to Take Online Surveys From Home

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

I’ve worked with CampusFundraiser in the past to bring you deals on All You magazine, so when they recently contacted me to ask if I’d be interested in testing their online survey program outside of a collegiate market (their normal demographic), I thought that the Pocket Your Dollars community would be interested in the opportunity.

In this online survey program, you can respond to and complete surveys online, easily making a few dollars per day as you surf the net.  Because of CampusFundraiser’s strict privacy policy, your information will not be shared with any third party or the survey companies themselves.  Everything will be filtered through CampusFundraiser themselves and come via email from cfsurveys.com so as not to be confused with any other program you may be taking advantage of.

Three Ways to Earn From Surveys

Surveys will come in the following three ways:

Invitation Survey
These will come every couple of days and provide you the opportunity to complete one survey.  They will usually be titled something like “Movie Survey” or “Need Women 25-35″ to give participants some understanding of what type of survey may be inside.  If you are qualified, you move on to participate in the survey and will normally earn 50 market points, which translates to $1.00. Some surveys are worth $2, $4 or more, with the highest surveys ever having been $11, $20 and $45.  You will be told in the invitation if the survey is of a high value.  If you are not qualified (for instance, they are doing a survey on a men’s razor and you are a female), you will be “screened out” and will typically earn 5 market points or $0.10 for the attempt.

CF Daily Survey
This will come to your email a few times a week, but there is no need to wait for its arrival. Bookmark the link after it’s sent to you the first time and you’ll be able to complete a survey every day.  The survey pool will continue to offer you opportunities until you are able to complete a survey or the opportunities are out.  If the latter happens, simply return to the link later in the day.  There are no points offered in screening out of a daily survey and 35 market points ($0.70) are offered for each regular Daily Survey completed.

Daily 5 Survey
Bookmark this link to complete up to 5 surveys per day.  Again, there are no points for a screen out and you will receive 35 market points or $0.70 for each of the completed surveys.  This opportunity informs you of the time involved in each survey (5 minutes-35 minutes) so you can easily decide to return later if you don’t have the time.

By taking advantage of all three opportunities you can earn a little extra money from the comfort of home.

How do I get started?

Click here and register your information to become a part of the Pocket Your Dollars test panel.

Please note: Your name and corresponding activity will be shown in list form although no personal or contact information will be shown.  CampusFundraiser is looking to do another round of testing with a few hundred additional Pocket Your Dollars’ participants for now and, should they decide to permanently market outside their collegiate demographic, they will open it up to everyone else at a later date.

Also, please disregard the collegiate or group wording that will be peppered entirely throughout the registration process and remember you are the some of the first participants outside the collegiate market to have been approached with this opportunity.

At the end of the registration process, you will be given a username and password at the bottom of the last screen.  Please save this for your records as you will need this when checking your account activity in the future.

To check your account activity, go to www.campusfundraiser.com and click on “View Your Account” in the upper right hand corner of the screen.  Enter your login information there and find your activity in the Current Fundraiser Tab, Survey Fundraiser 2010/2011. Activity is updated every few days and will not be available live.

How do I get paid?

Once you have achieved $25, contact CampusFundraiser to request a payout.  Make sure to provide your address information during registration and allow 3-4 weeks for processing and mailing of payment.

Please contact mrijos@campusfundraiser.com with questions or to request a payout and refer to the fact you are part of the Pocket Your Dollars test panel.

Other Survey Companies

We have shared a number of other survey opportunities in the last few weeks and you can browse through all of them. By the way, I only share legit companies that are not going to sell your email so you start getting spam or have a reputation for not paying.

Your turn: What do you think of this particular survey opportunity?

  1. Kate says:

Awesome! I am always looking for legitimate survey companies. While I haven’t had much luck in the past, I’m hopeful since you are working with this group that it will be useful.

  2. Tafshier says:

Just signed up! Thank you Carrie, I love taking surveys and getting paid.

  3. K... says:

I signed up. I am confused – it says we are doing it as a pocket your dollars fundraiser and it reads as though the money goes to pocket your dollars. Is that right?

    • Alisha Kilham says:

      K,

No, you are part of the Pocket Your Dollars test Panel but your individual earnings while active are your and will be paid out to you. When you hit $25, contact us for a payout!

  4. Sara says:

Thanks Carrie! I have just started experimenting with online survey companies so I am very excited for this opportunity.

  5. Mary says:

Confused. It shows this is for college students? I am older. And it shows they earn money from selling magazines and things? What will you be doing if you join?

    • Carrie Rocha says:

Mary – Disregard all the wording about college kids as this has been their typical demographic and they have asked Pocket Your Dollars to help test their survey company on a broader demographic. So, disregard that wording and know that this opportunity is all about taking online surveys. Hope that helps!

  6. Tosca says:

Just signed up too, thanks! I’m hoping this is also different from other surveys I’ve tried. Hoping it’s not one that requires a lot of you time only to disqualify you or one that requires 20 hrs a week to make $1.00 or be entered in raffle.

    • Alisha Kilham says:

No raffles, enter to wins or affiliate programs are attached. Every survey is different in terms of what they are looking for and the time is involved but specifically with the Daily 5, they tell you in advance the time it should take. Many times I have chosen to forgo a 20-25 minute one only to come back later to find a 10 minute one. You’ll quickly learn to take these surveys and work them to your advantage!

  7. Amanda says:

Thanks Carrie! This sounds great, all signed up. Being a stay at home mom with 1 in school now only 1 at home – hopefully I will be able to have enough time to earn the max per week. Thank again you are awesom!

  8. charlene says:

AWESOME! Just signed up ;) I am very curious ……. how does something like this work when it comes time for taxes?? Anyone??

  9. Jerra says:

I signed up this morning, and already completed 4 surveys. However, I never got a username and password when I signed up. When I go to the website to View My Account, it asks for the group login info. I’d like to make sure I got credit for the 45 minutes I just spent doing the surveys. Any suggestions??

  10. Joyful says:

Bummer, I’m too old! The list of birthday years only goes back to 1950. :-(

  11. mad says:

hunh – the year of birth only goes back to 1950. Seems like people over 60 are not viable survey takers.

  12. lori says:

I got the e-mail for The CF daily 5 and I did 5 of them. But how do you get to the other “2nd option” daily survey? I logged on to the site but I did’nt see where this was. Also when I got the e-mail I clicked on the link provided and it brought me right to the survey part, but I did’nt have to sign in. Do I still get credit for the ones I did-even though I did’nt have to sign in?

    • Maura says:

Lori the link that you clicked on for CF DAILY 5 has a specific ID number that is yours. That is how we determine which surveys you have completed. What you did earlier is accurate. Just click and complete the surveys we capture everything on this end. Anything completed yesterday you will see tommorrow next to your name on the list. Anything completed today you will not see until Monday there is a 24-48 hr delay as our database is not live. Thanks! Also if at any point you have questions please email me at mrijos@campusfundraiser.com.

  13. E says:

I use Turbo Tax and they walk you thru where to put earnings that come from these kind of situations. Someone can correct me, but I think companies have to send out a 1099 indicating what they have paid you, if it is over a certain amount.

  14. Lori says:

Hi, I’ve been doing the surveys and a couple of times I’ve had a message at the end that comes up saying something about detecting cheating in several different languages. Is it saying I did it to fast or is it a general message. I’m a pretty fast reader so maybe that’s why? Am I getting credit on those surveys? Thanks for any info.

  15. Laurie says:

Is anyone else having trouble with the survey not completing? A couple of times now I have either gotten an error page in several different languages or the website does not load the next page and I get a message that the website is not responding and I can not get in and complete the survey. None of the surveys that I completed over the weekend are listed in the group totals. I know they are not immediately updated but some of the surveys that I took were done before the date that is listed. Are we supposed to get an invitation every day? I spent a lot of time taking the surveys and it looks as though none of them were counted and I have not been invited back :(
    Thanks

  16. charlene says:

Laurie, I just tried 4 diff. surveys and none completed – and the other day when i almost completed i got a web page expired error message! Very frustrated!

  17. Jayne says:

I am finding the Daily 5 to be very frustrating. I am answering A LOT of questions only to find out I don’t qualify. Just answered about 15 questions about my diaper usage only to be rejected.

I don’t mind short qualifiers, but I feel they are mining data without the obligation to pay for our time. :-(

    • Carrie Rocha says:

Jayne – Thanks for the feedback. That’s good for me to know, as this is a new program to me too, and something we can share with them that if they want to expand this they should shorten the qualifiers.

    • WendyH says:

I am finding similar experience to Jayne, there seem to be many more initial questions than some of the other survey sites, and apparently they don’t qualify as screen-outs? I’m spending +/- 5 minutes to get the “didn’t qualify” screen, seems like a waste of time!

  18. Tosca says:

Yeah, I took a survey last night that I was like 10 min in and answered many questions only to be told I wasn’t eligible because I didn’t visit the right store. Hmmm, I’ll try a couple more to give them a fair chance but I’ve done like 5 surveys so far and never qualified. Starting to think this is just another survey site that mines lots of data from you before you get a “you don’t qualify message”. Which is just a blatant way to get your data without you ever qualifying for anything. Hope I’m wrong though :)

  19. Lori says:

It’s getting frustrating-taking some surveys. I just spent 35 minutes on a survey and at the end it said I did’nt qualify. How does that work? I had to watch commercials and listen to radio ads and answer a whole lot of questions.

  20. Jerra says:

How can I cancel my registration? I agree with many of the others, these surveys are far too time consuming for the amount of actual compensation. I think it’ll take an eternity before I get to $25 for a pay-out with all the survey’s that I start and then get declined.

  21. Tina Morrison says:

I have had a great experience so far with Campus Fundraiser. I have gotten my first $25 check from them, and just yesterday I won the $25 prize for my previous weeks activity. This survey group has by far been my biggest payout to survey taking time ratio. I do screen out of a lot more surveys than I qualify for, but I find this to be true for every other survey site. I love Campus Fundraiser because of the Daily 5 surveys. I am able to qualify for 1-5 surveys pretty much everday.

  22. Ellen says:

I just received my second $25 payout plus a two-year subscription to Food & Wine magazine. Thanks!
