Awesome love that you’ve started doing this!

  2. Jenny Reeves

So excited to see this! Dealing with food allergies means we often shop the co-ops, but we still like good deals!

  3. Angela

I shop at four different coops in the Twin Cities. After speaking with management I was told at three of them I could “stack” coupons. I love this site! Thank you so much.

  4. Angie

@Angela–That is interesting! After doing some research I was told that I couldn’t. I think it comes down to individual store policy. Which stores told you that you could stack, if you don’t mind me asking? What could you stack at those stores, Co+op Deals coupons with other manufacturer coupons?

  5. Angela

The stores where the supervisers called me back to confirm stacking is allowed were The Wedge, Linden Hills, and Lakewinds. Seward was a “no.” Also I have a letter from the Whole Foods National office which I carry when I shop that says their stores allow stacking. Believe me, I jumped through a lot of hoops after being told no, yes, no; calling regional offices, etc. Hope this helps!

    1. Amy

Which Whole Foods do you usually go to? I was wondering about stacking their coupons with manufacturer coupons as well.

    2. Shelly

I have stacked coupons a couple of times at the Calhoun Whole Foods with no problem. I think I got Kettle Corn really cheap and greek yogurt by stacking coupons. Good luck!

  6. Teresa

Nicely done Carrie! Thank you for the linky love. :)

  7. Angie

@Angela–Thanks for the info on the stores! I’m going to write those down! It is sometimes hard to navigate through the different policies. Good for you to keep at it! :) Which coupons are you stacking? Are they the Co+Op Deals coupons with a regular manufacturer coupon, or did you find actual store coupons in those stores? Also, when you talked about your letter from the Whole Foods National office, that is just for the Whole Foods stores, correct? Because Whole Foods (chain) is separate from the Co+Op Deals stores, which are listed here (with the exception of the store called “Whole Foods Co-op” in Duluth, MN—that store is part of the Co+Op deals program not the chain I believe).

  8. Angela

Hi Angie, Yes I stack manufacturer coupons with the co-op coupon booklet. The Whole Foods store I was speaking about is the one by Lake Calhoun. I stack manufacturer coupons with their Whole Deals coupon book (cannot use co-op coupons there). That’s interesting about the Whole Foods in Duluth.

  9. Melissa

Do all co-ops have the coupon booklet? Specifically Lakewinds? This is good information Angela!

  10. sheepy

I didn’t know Whole Foods had a coupon book. How do you get it?

  11. Cheri

WooHoo! Thanks so much for taking on an additional store for us! I shop Valley Natural Foods once/month.

  12. angela

Sheepy, It’s the Whole Foods deal which you can find all around the store. Have fun!

  13. Cheri

Hey, you Whole Foods shoppers: I just saw this on another blog. There’s a sale on grass-fed beef today only, $3.99/lb.

  14. Mary

    Thanks for this awesome list!!

  15. angela

Yes, they all have the co-op book. It used to come out quarterly and some months were not covered. When I was at the Seward co-op last week, I read in some of their literature that they would be having more coupons, but they are the store that does not stack. Hopefully all of the co-ops will increase their issuance of coupons.

  16. jan

I am wondering if the Valley Natural Foods store you are talking about is the one in Burnsville, MN? Thank You.

    1. Cheri

Hi, Jan. Yes, Valley Natural Foods is in Burnsville.

  17. Angie

Angela–Thanks for the clarification! Very interesting! :) There are 48 coupons in the new Co+Op Deals coupon booklet, which are good until 10/31/10, so maybe that’s what you were reading about at Sewards (unless they are having their own as well). Just a thought.

Also, if you go the Whole Foods website you can download a flyer with their specials (I usually download from the site of the store I would shop at just so it’s as accurate as possible.

Jan–The Valley Natural Foods store in Burnsville, MN is a part of this Co+Op Deals program (not sure if that’s the one that Cheri was talking about or not, but thought I’d pass on the info I know). :)

I’m new in the cities and just heard about your site. Are there any co-ops in Blaine or Coon Rapids area? Also, I’m looking for a natural foods bulk store that sells Xylitol preferably in bulk. Thanks,

    1. Julie W

      Hi Ann,
I am in Brooklyn Park and have looked for co-ops/natural foods stores up here- I agree with Angie, there is Grass Roots in Anoka.. The nearest big co-op is the Wedge and Seward in Mpls (about 18 miles). I found a natural store that isn’t a co-op but has tons of organic/natural food, it’s “Natural Foods” and it’s on the southwest corner of 169 and Rockford road (in a strip mall). It’s not my favorite natural food store, and I think it might be a little expensive, but it’s sometimes closer to where I am on the north side. I don’t know specifically if they have Xylitol.

      Julie

  19. Angie

Ann–Most of the stores that participate in the Co+op Deals promotions are in the middle to south metro, or other parts of the state. You can find a map at the top of this page where it says “Find a participating co-op”. Otherwise, I know there is a natural food store in downtown Anoka called Grass Roots (but it is not a part of this promotional program). I am not sure about Xylitol. Sorry! Happy hunting! :)

  20. Ann E

Thanks everyone for your help. I’ll check out those stores.
