Walmart: Free Dryel Starter Kit and Refill after Mail-in Rebate (Exp 8/31)

Whether you just want to try Dryel in-home dry cleaning products or are a regular user, you can get both a free Dryel Starter Kit and Refill after mail-in rebate when purchased at your local Walmart store by Aug. 31. You can make this deal even better by using this $2 off one Dryel Starter Kit or Refill coupon.

The rebate form says Dryel will reimburse you up to the purchase amount so this probably isn’t a moneymaker with the coupon, but it will lower your out-of-pocket cost. The rebate must be postmarked by Sept. 30 and has a limit of one per household.

Request a rebate by filling out this form. This rebate is a bit different from many other rebates because you have to wait a couple of days for Dryel to e-mail you an authorized form. (Side note: I – Laura – requested my form yesterday and still haven’t gotten it yet, but I’m sure I will soon.) Then follow the instructions on the form.

Note: The Dryel site says the items must be purchased by Aug. 31, however, the form says it is available until April 1, 2011, so I am not sure which date to go by. If you are really interested in this deal, I would go by the Aug. 31 date.

Your turn: What do you think of Dryel? Is it a good substitution for professional dry cleaning like the manufacturer says?

I'm an avid deal shopper and mom of two little ones. I truly enjoy finding and sharing amazing deals with all of you. Thanks for reading!

    Hi Laura,

Curious if you’ve received your “authorized form” yet. I submitted my request a day after you did and have not received my form yet. I don’t mind filling out rebates, but I am not sure I like this process and don’t understand the reason for the long wait (or frankly the reason) for the “authorized form.” I would expect the response to be a lot quicker. If I didn’t like Dryel so much I am not sure I would have applied for this rebate. Thanks.

I’m still waiting for mine too. It’s been over a week now.

    Stephanie,

I got my “authorized form” about 4 days after my submission and have already sent in for the rebate. It’s wierd, though, because what you get back is a pdf with some of the information you submitted online filled out for you. You have to finish filling out the form and submit the standard recipts, UPCs and form. My guess, Stephanie, is that they are backlogged with requests, but I ask again, what is the purpose of filling out an online form to received an authorized form? Seems like a waste….
