The plethora of school supply deals is back this week for one last hurrah before school starts again for many students across the nation. Check the list to find all of the deals, as Walgreens has a wide variety of items on sale this week. You can also get free disposable razors, mouthwash and air fresheners this week.
If you’re new to Walgreens shopping, then learn how the Register Rewards program works and learn how to read this shopping list. Don’t forget that some other stores will accept Register Rewards like a manufacturer’s coupon.
This is a starting list of deals for the week and is not a comprehensive list of every sale item and its coupons, but just the best deals (things at prices I’d actually pay). We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas or we read about other deals across the blogosphere. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Helpful hint: Walgreens is the one store where an advertised sale like “2 for $4″ usually requires you to buy two products. The first one rings at full price and the second product will ring at a lesser price to bring the total to $4, using our example. If you ever question whether you need to buy two to receive a sale price, ask the cashier to scan one item for you. If it rings at full price, then you know you need to buy two products. If it rings at the sale price, then you don’t.

too bad, but the printable coupon for Purex excludes the 2 count.
@Tami W: I used the Purex coupons last week and got the Purex 2 counts for free.
Same here…..there are no exclusions on the coupon. Here is what I’ve learned: When I have a $1 q for a $.99 item, I always ask the cashier if a $1 q will work for a .$99 item. If they say no, I go to a different cashier. Eventually you will find one who knows how to adjust the transaction. Is it worth all the extra inconvenience? Thats up to the individual I guess.
Maybe they changed the wording on the coupon but the one that I just printed says “excludes 2-Count To-Go Pack”
I don’t know the last time I’ve been to a Walgreens where they had more than two cashiers on duty at the same time. You must go to a very, very busy Walgreens!
I used up the last of my coupons on the bic soleil…the packages now come with 6 razors instead of four. That’s like getting an extra pack for free.
Kraft Mac & Cheese is .69 w/ store coupon limit 3.
Cub has a Fall into Savings coupon book that has many manu. coupons it (no mention of Cub on them) There’s 1 for $1 off 3 Kraft Mac & Cheese

Am I the only one who really wants school to start already so we can get some different sales? I only have one 2 year old and 1 on the way so while it was nice to refresh a few office supplies, I am so done with it! I can’t wait for september! :)

I asked at the check out if I bought 3 book covers and 3 5 subject notebooks if it would take the sale price on each, we rang them up and scanned the cupon and it took the sale for both items.
Purchased the Crest toothpaste(1) and the Oral B toothbrushes (2) listed above with the listed coupons and did not get the register reward. Also, purchased the Rice Krispies (2), using the Red Plum coupon listed and did not receive the register reward. I used a “Dial”
register reward when paying for the order (but that should not have impacted it). Any ideas why? The store manager seemed to think that it had something to do with the way it was listed in the ad?
For some reason, the Rice Crispies $2 RR didn’t print, so keep an eye out for that. The size is correct in the ad for the product I purchased, and I didn’t use any RR to pay for it. The manager was kind about it and gave me a refund.
Same thing happened to me!I had to call the catalina company to get my RR.
I also purchased the Crest toothpaste & the Oral B toothbrushes and did not get the RR. However when I looked at my receipt when I got home it lists the toothbrushes as $2.00 each so maybe that has something to do w/why the RR didn’t print out? That’s my only guess, since it reads purchase 3/$9 & get the $4 RR. Anyone else have this problem, or better yet the solution to it?
I attempted to purchase the Air Wick compact today, 50% off price = 3.99 and I used my $4/1 from SS. I went thru 3 cashiers. They all said they were not allowed to price the item up $.01 & it’d be coupon fraud to price the coupon down $.01. Disappointed :(

Just at my local WAG’s today. They are selling $13/4 12 packs of Pepsi products + get $5RR back. That makes it $2.00/ 12 pack.
Had an issue at our Wags yesterday. Ended up walking out without ANYTHING I was so frustrated.
The Listerene/Reach deal (1.99 after ISC) wouldn’t work on the toothbrushes. There is NO ISC for the toothbrushes/floss, just the Listerene. They were going to adjust the toothbrushes down since the ad was wrong, but wouldn’t take my MC for $2 off each toothbrush (found at my dentist’s office last spring). *sigh*
Going to try again tomorrow at a different store when I have no kids along! That should help right there.
