Walgreens: 15 or 20% Off Almost Everything In-Store (Exp 8/4)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Through tomorrow, August 4, you can save an additional 15-20% off at Walgreens stores with this printable coupon. Take an additional 15% off all name brand merchandise except cigarettes, prescriptions, liquor, phone cards, gift cards, and periodicals or 20% off all W brand products.

Just to be clear, that means that any of the amazing deals on this week’s Walgreens’ shopping list will be an additional 15-20% off. And yes, if you are expecting to get Register Rewards from a product you are buying they will print out just the same.

Good thing some stores are open 24 hours so you can go after work and after the kids are in bed, huh? :)

Give them this coupon FIRST. I did this today and apparently they have to ring it in as an employee discount so they had to re-ring all of my items. HTH.

  2. Sarah says:

Aw, what happens if I already went shopping today at Walgreens and DIDN’T have this coupon? Do you think I can take in my receipt and bring the coupon in the next day? (I spent $58!)

  3. Lisa says:

Thanks for the head’s up Jill. I plan on going tomorrow. That’s an awesome deal.

  4. Jeannie says:

This is a FABULOUS deal since it takes the discount off each item first, but all coupons rang up with their full value (for me at least). A few of my items ended up being money makers!
Also – this takes 20% off of all Walgreens items. There are several good deals on this brand in the ad this week (ie $0.99 batteries) that make them an even better deal with this discount!

  5. Kristen says:

    Where is the coupon?

    • Jeannie says:

You should be able to click on Carrie’s link above and print the coupon from there. It is for 15% off almost everything and 20% off Walgreens brand products. Hurry – expires today!

  6. Kristen says:

Thanks. Not sure how I missed it the first time.

  7. Kazz says:

Duracell rechargeable batteries on sale for $10… 15% off = $8.50 – $2 coupon (8-1 P/G insert) = $6.50. We are trying to replace all our batteries with rechargeable (esp. for the Wii, and wireless computer stuff… that burn out quickly!)… now only if my DH and kids would remember to charge them…

  8. Dana says:

I went today to use the 15% discount and spent only .06 on a purchase that included 4 boxes of NutriGrain bars, 2 boxes of Playtex tampons, Crayola crayons and Penway erasers! I was so excited! Even better, is there is an unadvertised $2 RR for NutriGrain bars, so I got a total of $6 in RR ($2 for bars, $3 for tampons, $1 for crayons) on top of it all!! So, basically it was a $6 moneymaker!

  9. Hollie says:

I’m new to all of this and want to make sure I do this right. I have the above coupon and will be purchasing diapers. They are on sale for 8.99, but if you buy $ 25 worth you receive $5 RR. Is $25 before or after 15% discount coupon and manufacturer coupons, as I have both? Is there an order that I should use the coupons in?

    • Jeannie says:

I’m not positive, but I believe the $25 is AFTER the 15% off but BEFORE manf Q’s.
The 15% comes off the price immediately so the sale price is what actually gets rung up.

I went in to get my Lever 2000 with the coupon, expecting to also get the RR and they wouldn’t give it to me. I asked them to void it and rering without the discount and the $1 manufacturer’s coupons. The cashier got the manager and they handed me $3! Even better than an RR!

Thanks for highlighting this coupon, Carrie! I have been loathe to shop at Walgreens over the years and used to not look at the deals since I just didn’t like the store (seemed like I had trouble finding things, out of things, etc etc). But we have a new one in St. Louis Park, and I do go there a couple of times a month now. Their manager/s have been very nice. But the selling point for me is the woman that works at the cosmetic counter. She seems to always be there when I’m shopping, and she’s the nicest cashier – she gets SO excited over my deals, and she keeps a bunch of organized coupons behind the counter and I’ve seen her dig them out for others that would benefit. Today I bought the 2 Bic Soleil razor pkgs and used the BOGO and the $3 off one. I know some places will let you use both and some won’t – I just figure I’ll bring them both in case it works. She was so excited as she rang them both in addition to getting the 15% off from the friends and family coupon. I did have to get rainchecks for all 4 school supply items, but that’s okay – as long as I can get the price sometime soon : )

  12. sheepy says:

Shelly, I find that the new St Louis Park Walgreens is always out of everything, including drugs. I know they had an issue when they first opened with, um, security involving the pharmacy, but they need to do something about their stock issues.

    • Shelly says:

that’s too bad, Sheepy. Do you think that particular Walgreens is worse than the others? I always assume Walgreens will be out of stuff on sale, and that’s been a reason I don’t like shopping there. But I’m getting better about using the rainchecks I get.
