OfficeMax: 5 Items Free After Rewards + Ink & Toner Deals

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

OfficeMax continues its free-after-MaxPerks Rewards items this week, however, you’ll have to make a trip into the store. None of the free-after-MaxPerks Rewards items are available for ordering online. The other school supply deals are just the best ones I see within the ad, although Target and Walmart may still have prices that compete with some of these sales. Sale items that are also available from OfficeMax.com include the hyperlink to that item or promotion.

Additionally, if you make any purchase at an OfficeMax store now through September 6 and you’ll receive a coupon good for $5 off a $25 purchase at Payless Shoe Source or from Payless.com.

MaxPerks Rewards is OfficeMax’s free loyalty program. Although their website says it is open to businesses or teachers, including home schoolers, some people say that when they’ve asked at the store they are able to enroll – regardless of whether they teach or own a business.

This is my favorite office store loyalty program since the Rewards I earn can be used to buy other products that generate MaxPerks Rewards (although some people are told they can’t by OfficeMax customer service, I have done this a number of times without a problem). So, I can buy these backpacks, then use the credit I’ll get (which will arrive in my account in September) to buy a future free-after-MaxPerks product. Plus, there’s no paperwork to fill out to get the rebate, just enter your card number online or have them scan your card in-store.

$1 Scotch Tape Coupons in SS this week..makes the tape deal a money maker.

$1 and $2 Coupons in RP for Mead 5 Star..MM

I joined the Office Max Rewards program last November and love it…their customer service is exceptional and I rolled my rewards for a 4th time two weeks ago to buy my son a back pack for kindergarten..along with most of his supply list for free.

I recently made a purchase at office max of some of their free after maxperks items. I used $6 in maxperks rewards to reduce my price (these may have been earned from recycling ink, I'm not 100% sure), When I check my statement afterwards, my qualified maxperks rewards had been reduced by the $6 that I used to pay. I called customer service several times and was told that I couldn't get maxperks for more than I had paid. If this isn't happening to anyone else, I wonder why it happened to me? I'm nervous to use any other maxperks rewards now.

The 100% MaxPerks Rewards must be local to the Cities. These deals were not in our La Crosse flyer nor the store. Bummer!

  4. bpvh says

Christina — which recent offer was reduce by using MaxPerks rewards?

KG — the 100% back in rewards items are advertised in certain areas. Among the areas this week are Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York, Philadelphia, Ann Arbor (MI), etc..
