OfficeMax: 5 Free-After-Rewards Items + iTunes Gift Card Deal (8/1 – 8/7/10)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

OfficeMax continues its free-after-MaxPerks Rewards items this week, however, you’ll have to make a trip into the store. None of the free-after-MaxPerks Rewards items are available for ordering online. The other school supply deals are just the best ones I see within the ad, although Target and Walmart may still have prices that compete with some of these sales.

Additionally, if you make any purchase at an OfficeMax store now through September 6 and you’ll receive a coupon good for $5 off a $25 purchase at Payless Shoe Source or from Payless.com.

MaxPerks Rewards is OfficeMax’s free loyalty program. Although their website says it is open to businesses or teachers, including home schoolers, some people say that when they’ve asked at the store they are able to enroll – regardless of whether they teach or own a business.

This is my favorite office store loyalty program since the Rewards I earn can be used to buy other products that generate MaxPerks Rewards (although some people are told they can’t by OfficeMax customer service, I have done this a number of times without a problem). So, I can buy these backpacks, then use the credit I’ll get (which will arrive in my account in September) to buy a future free-after-MaxPerks product. Plus, there’s no paperwork to fill out to get the rebate, just enter your card number online or have them scan your card in-store.

Your turn: Did you find any great deals on clearance priced printers? (I’m in the market for a 3-in-1 and plan to check out the stick at my local OfficeMax store)

Free Items After MaxPerks Rewards

These items are only available in-store this week and while supplies last. The ad doesn’t list their prices and I know the website doesn’t typically reflect in store sale prices. If you find out how much these items cost, please leave a comment (visit the site here to do that) so we can all know.
