New Procter & Gamble Rebate: Buy $50 in P&G Products, Get $110 Coupon Booklet

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Procter & Gamble is offering another chance to score some money-saving coupons. When you buy $50 worth of any Procter & Gamble products (before tax and before coupons) between August 20 and December 31, 2010 and submit for the P&G Everyday Savings Rebate, you will receive a coupon booklet with over $110 in coupon savings by mail.

You can purchase P&G products at any retailer including Alice.com or the new P&G eStore. Personally, I haven’t seen any great sales online yet, but maybe something will turn up and we won’t even have to leave home to get in on this deal :)

Rebate Details

Fill out the rebate form found in the August 29 Procter & Gamble insert or the printable version and mail it along with your original receipts to the address provided on the form. The $50 does not have to be spent in one transaction, so you can use multiple receipts for this offer. All requests must be postmarked by January 14, 2011.

It should be pretty easy to get to the $50 threshold since you have a little over 4 months to do so and you can use multiple receipts for this offer. You can help minimize your out-of-pocket expenses by not only using the coupons found in the Procter & Gamble insert featured once a month in the Sunday newspaper, but also taking advantage of promotions stores frequently run where if you buy XXX amount of P&G products, you get YYY bonus, money off or rebate of some sort.

Procter & Gamble ran a rebate similar to this one this past spring, and I have to admit, I wasn’t too impressed with the coupons. They weren’t very high-value, but with the right sale or promotion it often helps to have multiple Procter & Gamble coupons. Plus, what’s to say that this next booklet doesn’t have better coupons in it?

How to Get Organized for This Rebate

Since this rebate allows you to make multiple purchases over the course of months, it is important to keep yourself organized. What I will do is take out and address an envelope (no stamp), print a copy of the rebate form, fill it out as best I can now, then let it sit on my desk where I keep my bills (so it is handy). As I make qualifying purchases I can put the receipt right into the envelope so I don’t lose track of it, then when I’ve spent my $50 I’ll double check that the form is complete, seal and stamp the envelope and send it off.

Your turn: Did you submit for the coupon booklet rebate Procter & Gamble offered this past spring? What did you think of the coupons?

I didn’t do this last time but already have $35 with Pampers diaper purchases made last week (before coupons). So, I will definitely participate. Thanks for the organization tip!

  2. JoAnna says:

I received the book last spring-it wasn’t great but it did have a few $5 off Olay skin care coupons.

  3. meghan says:

I just bought a few boxes of pampers off amazon with the diaper deal. Would those qualify?

  4. Cecia says:

I sent in my receipts last time I around and never received my booklet :( I don’t think I will do it again as I don’t purchase Pampers anymore so it would take me a while to accumulate $50 in P&G products after coupons !

      Cecia,
You can check the status of your rebate on the P&G Website and if anything, I would call them to find out why you didn’t receive it.
Just a tip, for every rebate I send in, I scan a copy of the rebate form filled out along with the receipts, save it to my computer then mark the date I sent the rebate in on the calendar and write down approximately how many weeks it should take to get the rebate. That way, if there is any problem, I can refer back to those copies. I recommend this for everyone to do (with any rebate) because many times, it is the company’s error for why a rebate didn’t get processed or you can find out if it was something you did wrong. For example, i did the SC Johnson rebate a couple of months ago, but was rejected because I “didn’t purchase a qualifying product”. I called the SC Johnson number on the rebate form, remailed in copies of my receipts and they sent me the check. They mistakenly entered a few wrong numbers in on a UPC code.
Also, it doesn’t just have to Pampers. P&G makes a wide variety of products that you more than likely use including Cover Girl, Cascade, Tide, Duracell batteries, Pantene ProV, Head and Shoulders, Herbal Essense, Gillette, Charmin, Pringles, Prilosec, Febreeze, Braun, Secret….the list goes on and on! You can check out all P&G products here: http://www.pg.com/en_US/brands/all_brands.shtml
      Hope this helps!

Does the recent Amazon deal on diapers (if you bought Pampers) count? The original price on those was over 40 dollars…that would be an easy way to get to the 50 dollar mark if you could send in your printed Amazon receipt…or perhaps the packing slip/receipt that comes with the shipment?

  6. Chrissy Whte says:

I am about to send mine off, using the Amazon diaper deal. I hope that it does work! Only a few transactions put me over $50.

I printed out my invoices from my orders on Amazon
