My Vacation Starts…Now!

Imagine a week in Northern Minnesota relaxing at a friend’s cabin with your family. Imagine playing on the beach and in the water with your kids all day, every day. Imagine boating, fishing and hiking. How about introducing your kids to s’mores and campfires? Doesn’t that sound delightful??? Well, in a few short hours that will be my reality.

The Rocha family is leaving on vacation soon and Laura Wales will be running the show around here. We will bring you all the weekly shopping lists, continue to provide daily deals, plus we have some special content lined up – like a series where I talk about how we got out of debt and how you can too.

I intend to unplug and unwind, as it has been a year since I’ve had a vacation. Although those that have followed Pocket Your Dollars for a long time will remember the website hijacking and debacle that happened last year when I went out of town. Lots has changed around here since then and I don’t expect a repeat of that. I hit the ground running when I get back with a speaking engagement at a Financial Peace University course, then live at the Minnesota State Fair on Thursday during KARE 11 News at 4 pm, then the fall is chocked full with an average of 3 speaking engagements each week. Laura and team will do a fabulous job while I am gone and I’m grateful that I don’t have a thing to worry about.
