Local Deals: Stuff the School Bus, Target Free Family Concerts, and More

Stuff the School Bus sponsored by KS95 and The Salvation Army. This week (August 2-6), KS95 will tour metro Walmart stores encourage shoppers to donate new school supplies for children in need. Donations can be given at school supply bins located at Walmart and Sam’s Club stores from August 2nd through the 22nd. You can donate at any time during those dates, but if you’d like to see the KS95’s one hour appearances, you can find their schedule of stops here.

Target Free Family Concerts with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra are held from October-December 2010. Enter the random drawing for tickets now through Friday, August 6. Shows this fall include Ordway Family Concerts on October 16 (for children ages 6-12), Xplorchestra! on October 2 (for children ages 6-12) and Start the Music! on November 6 and December 4 (for ages 3-6).

3M Championship. Admission is free to this PGA Champions Tour tournament at the TPC Twin Cities Golf Course in Blaine from August 2-8. Watch golf greats Arnold Palmer, Mark O’Meara, Tom Lehman, and more battle it out for the title of 2010 champion.

Majors Sports Café. Parents eat free all day on Mondays with the purchase of one kids meal: one purchased kid meal = one select adult meal.
