food splurge would be REALLY good coffee,
home splurge would be new furniture, and
clothes would be a really cute pair of shoes, even if they weren’t practical. :o)

I don’t have many splurges, but the two above. Great question, Carrie.
White chocolate mocha from Starbucks is my current splurge and I try to limit it as much as I can. Getting a pedicure at a fancy place used to be a splurge before kids.
A pedicure! it lifts me up and the feeling lasts.

I love getting my car detailed. I consider it spring cleaning for my car.

And for those that love the cold beverages from Caribou or Starbucks, I’ve recently discovered McDonalds versions. They are $3 for a medium and really good. I get one every other friday as my treat.
…Vanilla Iced Nirvana from Dunn Bros! (Or some other fancy coffee drink.) I get one no more then once a week and it’s a nice treat!

for me, it’s getting a massage, and for my family, my favorite splurge is vacations – we all LOVE to travel. With a teacher’s schedule, we have lots of time to do this as well. We always try to get deals, but in general, traveling is expensive.

My favorite local splurge is going to The Mad Hatter Tea Room in Anoka for the afternoon with a friend. Lunch and unlimited tea in a very relaxing atmosphere…my sanctuary!
On a much bigger scale…my favorite splurge would be going to Toronto!!!

Walking around Barnes & Noble looking over all the new books I’d like to purchase but can’t afford. Then I request them from my local library system.
I’d say massages, but I’m lucky enough to get them free thanks to gift cards for Christmas from a day care parent. It used to be Starbucks or Caribou, but I’ve been making AWESOME iced coffee at home, dirt cheap. So, I’ll go with a mani/pedi, nothing beats a massage chair and pretty toes.

Getting my car washed, inside and out at one of the full service car wash places. I use my Happenings coupon of course so it’s 50% off, but it’s still considered a splurge for us because we could do it ourselves for free. :-)
Gotta love those splurges! My little splurge is a large white chocolate mocha from Caribou or Dunn Bros, and a large splurge would be a 1-hour massage. Pure bliss!!

For me, it’s the Tea House Chinese restaurant in Plymouth. Yummm!! I can’t afford it right now. I’d go there every day for all three meals, if I had the money. :-)
