There isn’t a single free-after-Extra Care Buck deal this week that I could find. Even with coupons, only one item is free. Don’t dismiss CVS all together though, as there are a couple of great buys including Altoids, some food items and razor cartridges. As always, this list is not a comprehensive listing of all advertised items: it only includes items that I think are truly good deals.
If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the ExtraCare program and learn how to read this shopping list. If you are just getting started and have questions, please leave them in the comments so we can all help you learn how to spend less. For those that use reusable bags, you may want to buy a green bag tag.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas, or we read about other deals across the blogosphere, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Your turn: What other deals did you get this week at CVS?

The Sobe BYGO is the best deal I see :) The ad does not mention a limit-do you know if there is one? Also, I know they offer rain checks on their ECB deals but do they offer the same on non-ECB/regular sale deals?
There was no limit at the Mounds View location.
Only limit I see is the number on the shelf in the cooler- not a lot in stock ever.
Yes, you can get rainchecks on non-ecb items.
I was just at the Maple Grove CVS and they no longer accept the internet BOGO coupons on the SOBE water! I couldn’t believe it. I guess it’s their prerogative to make such a rule but they are going to lose my business. They would still receive reimbursement from the manufacturer so I don’t understand what their problem is.
There is a $1.50/4 printable Con Agra foods coupon as well.
I am pretty sure that they offer rain checks on non ecb deals I got a raincheck on the ten for ten deal before.. When this bogo deal went on a couple weeks ago there was no limit. However i only used between 5 and 10 at a time. I love sobe and have been trading all week stockingup and i have about 50 of these! So i would not use them all at the same time. All the cvs’s i went to last time had a lot of sobe’s up until the sale ended.
Good thing-my CVS only has 4 bottles of Sobe!
Typo alert**- on the Organix, you’ve got:
Spend $4.99, get 44.99 back via mail-in rebate
I think there’s an extra 4 in there! Otherwise, that’s a GREAT deal!!
Keep up the great work Ladies!
I’ll fix it. Notice that 4 + shift is the dollar sign. I forgot to push shift. Whoops!
The South Beach coupon says it’s out of prints. (Though it’s still a good price for those bars.)
my cvs decided to have a limit 0f 6! they didn’t have that limit before… gunna have to try another one i have way to many coupons to use!.
For the Sobe BOGO you would need to print out 5 coupons if you wanted to get 10 free bottles right?
Do you all get a few bottles everyday to stock up?
I love getting all of the free Sobe waters. However, has anyone else had any reactions/side effects to drinking these? I was drinking up to 3 of these a day. I’ve been having stomach troubles and have been very itchy and even broke out in hives several times over the past 3-4 weeks and I finally figured out the culprit….Sobe waters. I tried not drinking it for a couple days and all symptoms went away. Then I drank some and it all came back. I did some googling and found out that I am not alone. People are getting all the symptoms I have and also getting urinary tract infections after drinking it (My Mom got this!). It turns out that some people are having a reaction to the sweetener in the Sobe which is Erythritol.
I am really bummed because I love the Sobe waters and especially like getting them free. I have a ton of coupons from playing the online game but think I’ll have to pass as the symptoms just are not worth it to me.
Anyone else?
The dye they use in Sobe some of the brighter reds and purples is causing a lot of people to break out in hives. I can’t drink the blackberry grape.
Katie – My husband also can’t drink any SoBe products for the same reason. I’m guessing that some people have reactions and some don’t, as I’ve been just fine.
i have a question…please help!
this week at cvs the playtex gentle glide tampons are on sale for 6.99.
i got a buy one get one free coupon and a 2.50 off two playtex coupon. can i use both of these together on two boxes and get it for 6.99-2.50=4.49 for two boxes, plus the 2.00 ECB as advertised on the circular?
Sam – You cannot use a Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon with a $2.50/2 coupon unless you buy three products. You could use a $x/1 coupon with a Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon if you had one. I think I’ve seen some $1/1 Playtex Gentle Glide coupons out there somewhere. Hope this helps!
Just went to print the ROC Brilliance rebate form – says purchase date expired 07/31/10. Is there another link for an updated rebate?….
Carol – Thanks for the update. It doesn’t look like there’s a new form available – sorry! I’m guessing that RoC still has it on the website so that people who have already purchased the product(s) can still print it and send it in.
Wanted to let everyone know about a rebate for Triaminic Fever Reducer Pain Reliever
http://www.triaminic.com/special-offers
Mona- Thanks! I will share the rebate in a separate post this afternoon.
I’m wondering about the spring /summer earnings on my card. I was on the CVS site and it says 2% of my spring/summer earnings will be issued on July 1st. How is it issued/ how do you get it?
Thanks!!
Kathy – You should get it as an Extra Care Buck printout at the bottom of your next receipt, if you haven’t already received it.
Laura – your 2% rebate on purchases is actually a coupon you print out at the end of the quarter from the CVS website. You have to register your CVS ECB card abd can track on a tab on the website.
Jo – I didn’t know that. Then what’s the ECB printout that I get every quarter? Is that something else?
Laura and Jo, the quarterly ECB printout either from the coupon spitter out machine, at the end of your receipt or you can print them off the web site. Whichever one you get to first, that’s how you get them. Does that make sense? So Laura, what you get at the end of the quarter is your quarterly ECB
