**Just a reminder: This rebate is only good through 8/30/10. I haven’t gone to Walmart yet to get mine, so I’ll have to do this soon!

“Like” Genesis Today on Facebook, then click the “Coupons” tab to download the rebate form that will allow you to buy one, get one free Genesis Today Superfruit Juice (up to $8.99 value). Limit one rebate submission per household through 8/30/10.

You can use two of these $1/1 Genesis Today Superfruit Juice printable coupons (no longer available, but you may have printed it before) to make your out-of-pocket cost even lower.

My husband loves the Acai Berry Juice, so this will be an excuse for me to splurge a little on something that’s usually out of our price range.

Thanks, Penny Pinchin’ Mom!

Umm… this, once, may have been a BOGO coupon, but it is now a REBATE offer – which means using two $1 off (or whatever you have) coupons is no longer going to work.

I am not fond of REBATES since they are always dependent on the U.S. Postal Service – which, for me, translates to a trip to the P.O. to get a metered stamp and receipt for the envelope. Good thing our P.O. is less than 5 miles from our home otherwise this REBATE would be a DEAL BREAKER for me. Why? Because, including the $0.44 stamp, at $0.60 a mile (includes gas, vehicle maintenance, repairs, insurance, etc), an 11 mile round trip would make this process cost more than the REBATE. And that excludes the cost of a trip to our bank to deposit the REBATE check.

Even at the suggested price of $8.99 (and I assume Cub Foods or Rainbow, Walmart, etc) sell it for less), subtracting $1.00 (with coupon) means the REBATE would be $7.99 – and subtracting $7.04 (expense for travel at 11 miles, plus meter stamp) means I make a WHOPPING $0.95 (ninety-five cents). WOO HOO ! ! !

Sorry to be such a downer on this, but I hate it when a manufacturer turns a COUPON into a BAIT ‘n SWITCH scheme. Or, should I say SCAM?

Hope to find a coupon somewhere instead.

    Martin
