To celebrate another Super Saver Day at Twin Cities Live (see footnote if you have no idea what I am talking about) Pixable is offering a free 8″ x 5.5″ photo book to every new customer that uses the code TWINCITIESLIVE at checkout. Code is good through July 18. You will pay $2.99 for shipping and handling, but even with that the book is a steal.
If you want a different style photo book than the one that is offered free that same code, TWINCITIESLIVE will take $7.99 off any photo book on Pixable’s website.
Some unique and valuable features about Pixable:
Photo and Content Aggregation. In addition to uploading your photos from your computer, you can automatically import them from Facebook. This means that you can also use your friends’ and family’s pictures as well as automatically bring in all of the thoughtful captions. It works great to aggregate photos strewn all over the web into one nice product. Isn’t that cool?!
Time Saving. Pixable says their photo books take 25% as long to make as anyone else’s because of the automatic photo and captioning import they offer. You can go through, make some quick edits and go instead of laboring for hours to create one book.
Collaboration. You can invite others to help design a photobook. Family and friends can edit a book and upload their own photos. This is great for trips, family reunions, and any other group related event that needs to be captured and remembered.
Powerful Album Editor. Pixable has a really robust album creator on the web allowing you to completely customize your photobook – rotating the photos, cropping them, professionally designed backgrounds, predesigned layouts, borders, shadows, and color effects.
Your turn: What are you going to do with your photo book?
Twin Cities Live is a daily television show in the ABC affiliate in Minneapolis where I do a weekly Super Saver segment sharing money-saving ideas and tips. Today’s Super Saver Day is a special show where we will have a live audience, special exclusive offers (like this one here) and I am involved more throughout the entire show. Plus, for the audience and me, we get snacks after the show is done :)

Anyone know how this works? I am trying to pull some photos off of my Facebook page but it says that there aren’t any? I wonder if it is my security settings in Facebook that isn’t allowing me to use them?
Never mind. They have a very helpful live chat option. I had to be logged out of Facebook on my other open tab in order to access the albums. Looks like a slick program. Think I will try it!
There was also an offer for UBake in Savage on Twin Cities Live. I don’t think I am supposed to give you the offer details, you are supposed to watch the show for that ;) But I did want you to know that UBake is a fantastic company and donates a percentage of EVERY sale to a great Minneapolis based non-profit, Wishes & More…
