Local Deals: Beatles Tribute Night, Free Wi-Fi Hot Spots, and More

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Minnesota History Center’s Beatles exhibit runs through September 12. My husband’s not a big museum-goer, but I might be able to take him to this one, especially since there’s a Beatles Tribute Night on July 20 as part of the 9 Nights of Music series. Count in the fact that admission is free on Tuesday nights from 5-8pm, and we’ve got a free night of entertainment ahead of us!

Open Eye Theatre Driveway Tour brings original family-friendly theatre directly into people’s neighborhoods. All performances are free and open to the public, so check the list to see if there’s an upcoming show in your neighborhood. Performances run through September 25. If you are interested in hosting a show in your neighborhood for 2011, contact them at drivewaytour @ openeyetheatre.org (removes spaces). (Thanks, Laura!)

Free Wi-Fi Hot Spots. Looking to get out of the office to get some work done on your laptop? You can access the Internet for free from 117 Wireless Minneapolis hotspots throughout the city. (Thanks, Clara at About.com!)

Twin Cities Natural Food Co-ops. Mix is a bi-monthly publication of Twin Cities Natural Food Co-ops. You can download their current issue to find a co-op near you plus free classes and events going on at your local co-op.

Your turn: Where else do you get free wireless Internet in the Twin Cities area?
