When you’re at the grocery store, it’s always a good idea to keep an eye out for boxes/containers with “Try Me Free” labels on them. Usually these products are new varieties that the manufacturer is encouraging people to try. We’ve mentioned two new Kellogg’s cereals with these labels that you can find in most stores, but we’ve learned that there are actually four Kellogg’s varieties folks have found with rebates:
– Kellogg’s Simply Cinnamon Corn Flakes Cereal
– Kellogg’s FiberPlus Berry Yogurt Crunch Cereal (pictured above)

– Kellogg’s FiberPlus Cinnamon Oat Crunch Cereal
You can receive each of these for free after rebate when you purchase a box labeled with the “Try Me Free” rebate and submit the UPC symbol along with your receipt and the rebate form found on/inside the box. Limit one per variety per household. The rebate forms expire in June 2011, so you have plenty of time to find these at your grocery store or supercenter.
Don’t forget to purchase these in separate shopping trips or transactions so that you have separate receipts to mail in because copies of receipts are usually not accepted with rebates (ask Laura how she knows that).
Thanks, Tera!
Your turn: How many of these new Kellogg’s cereals varieties have you purchased to send in for the rebates?

Hey, Laura, how do you know ‘that’?
Uhhh…yeah. So I bought both the cinnabon cereal and the corn flakes cereal at Cub the other day (I was so excited that I found both of them) in the SAME TRANSACTION. And then I realized when I got home that I’d need two separate receipts to send in the rebates. I haven’t sent either one in yet, so I’ll just have to pick and choose, I guess. :(
I made that mistake once…I just brought my items and receipts to the customer service counter and they returned my items and then I could buy them back over two transactions.
Mmm, those FiberPlus cereals sound yummy. I’ll have to check that out. Thanks!
So, I saw the Fiber Plus cereal pictured above at Target today. However, I didn’t think it was the right one because it didn’t say “Try M Free” across the top like the others. Anyone else notice the same thing? Anyone buy it and look inside for the rebate form?
AJ – It is only the boxes with the “Try Me Free” label on the top that can be redeemed for the rebate. We tried to find a picture of the new boxes with that label and couldn’t. The picture is just to give you an idea of what you’re looking for.
Are we sure we can have 4 rebates to the same address, even if each one is for a different flavor? I’m about to send in my 2nd one. Has anyone received a rebate check yet… or more importantly, 2 rebate checks yet?
