yes, their food is decent. All beef hot dogs, but they still tend to have those white things in them that you can’t chew. Anyways, there is a pretty decent selection upstairs and a couple snacks for on your way out.
I love how it always smells like their cinnamon rolls near the check out lanes. The only food I’ve ever tried from there is some of the chocolate bars and those are great. I’m curious to try the cheap breakfast – I’m sure it’s worth the 99 cents!
Their breakfast is quite good and cheap! The 99 cent one isn’t especially big, but they have two larger ones that aren’t very expensive. Now that I’m expecting and HUNGRY, I’ve found that I really like the “lumberjack breakfast” which is really, really big and about 3 dollars.
We go to Ikea just for the food! It is definitely inexpensive! My kid’s love the meatballs, and get the kid’s combo 3 items for $2.50. I love the open face shrimp sandwich (just like what I’ve had in Sweden) for $3, so the three of us can eat easily under $9. If I’m hungrier, the salmon is rather inexpensive and pretty good, usually just a touch over cooked, from sitting in the warming pans.
We always get some ikea food when we go to shop. We went one day and kids meals were free, they carry pureed baby food which makes me happy when I forget to think of that for my little one. They are very family friendly! We also buy one fountain drink-and all share. The chocolate cake is amazing!
