Now through 11:59 pm EST on July 2 you can download one of 46 free audio books from Audible.com. Titles range from Alice in Wonderland, to Winnie the Pooh to The Great Gatsby to Think and Grow Rich to Vampire Kisses. I suspect everyone can find one that suits their taste. You have to download your book in the next day or two, but that doesn’t mean you have to listen to it right away.
All you need to do is add a book to your cart and checkout. You won’t have to enter any credit card information.
If you are in the car a lot and think an audio book service would suit you, then check out Audible.com. You pay a monthly fee and gain access to thousands of titles. Yes, the library is much cheaper, but sometimes, for some people paying for the convenience of downloading to the computer might be worth it. If a loved one is a salesperson and practically lives in their car, then maybe an Audible.com subscription would be a good gift. Just an idea…
