There are a few free-after-Extra Care Buck deals this week at CVS, but none on school supplies, though there are other deals on school supplies available. Remember that it’s best to stock up on school supplies now as prices on them slowly rise over the course of the summer. As always, this list is not a comprehensive listing of all advertised items: it only includes items that I think are truly good deals.
If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the ExtraCare program and learn how to read this shopping list. If you are just getting started and have questions, please leave them in the comments so we can all help you learn how to spend less.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas, or we read about other deals across the blogosphere, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Tylenol Precise patches and creams are regularly $7.99 on sale for $5.99. My CVS has $2.00 coupons by the products AND you get $2.00 in ECB. Total price is $1.99.
Thanks, Jennifer!
Great deal on Pampers diapers this week with the right coupons! I had a $3.00 off any Pampers Vocal Points coupon that I received in the mail a while back plus I got a $4.50 off any Pampers boxed diapers CVS coupon at the coupon-spitter-outer last week, so the diapers were $4.49 after ECB’s & coupons – $0.08/diaper for size 5 Cruisers!
$9 OOP for me today for the diapers, 6 Sobe Lifewaters, 2 Arm & Hammer laundry detergents, 1 olive oil, and 1 package Kotex pads! CVS is THE BEST!
Erin – Can you look on receipt and tell us if it says that you’ve reached your limit on the Pampers deal. Someone emailed me that you may actually be able to do the deal twice. Wondering what your receipt says to confirm/deny it?
Yep…you can do it twice. I bought them today. It was nice seeing you yesterday at Rainbow Carrie!
Andrea – Are you the one with the little boy I ran into by the cheese? I love meeting people that read Pocket Your Dollars. It helps everyone remember that the computer is just a means of communication, but there are real people on both sides of it.
Yep that’s me! Sorry to bother you about the chicken, but my son was getting antsy and I figured you’d know where it was!
I was able to do the pampers deal twice as well :-)
[...] you to Pocket Your Dollars for their CVS [...]
The Little Swimmers coupon is for $1/1.
Lindsey – Hmmm…weird. The site that this coupon came from said $1.50/1, but when I printed it, mine came out $1/1, too. Thanks for the update!
new at this cvs shopping with question : on the pampers deal can you use a $3.00 pampers coupon and $4.00 in store coupon with $20.00 purchase
thanks
Sofia – Yes, you can use both.
:ast year the free school supplies were huge and none but 2 so far. Do you think thats it?
Doing the pampers deal 2x didnt work for me. only 1 ecb coupon printed on the bottom of my receipt and the receipt said limit 1. This was at the Robbinsdale store.
Tiff – So the bottom of your receipt said “Limit reached”? If so, then it must have been a glitch in their system that they corrected.
I did one deal on the Pampers at CVS this morning, and my receipt says 1 Pampers needed to get the $10ECB and did not say that my limit was reached. It said the same for the John Frieda buy 2 get $5ECB, even though I did that one a couple of weeks ago. So can I do both these deals again? I am so confused! The tag by the Pampers did say limit 1 per household, so I stuck with the one box for now.
Hmmm…now I’m really confused…my receipt states
quantity toward this reward 1
quantity needed to earn reward 1
Do you think it didn’t let me do it because I bought both in one transaction?
I wonder if that’s the case. It would say something like “Limit Reached” if you couldn’t do the Pampers deal again.
Has anyone tried to go back and get a second pampers? I am thinking about trying it this afternoon. I went and got the first one and my receipt said the same thing Quantity toward reward 1 Quantity needed to earn reward 1. But it doesn’t say limit reached like my other items.
I went back and got a second Pampers deal after I looked at my receipt and it said “quantity toward this reward 1 quantity needed to earn reward 1″…”not offer limit reached like it should” and the 10 extra care bucks printed out for me (on both deals, but I did do them in 2 different transactions). I would give it a try again and if it doesn’t print out the extra care bucks, I would show the cashier/manager the receipt and ask why it doesn’t say offer limit reached. If that’s the case (the bucks not printing out) they might manually print one out for you. But I think it is safe to say you can go back, get another box and get another extra care bucks.
Hey I was just at the Plymouth CVS and the Zhu Hampsters are $9.98 each not $4.49. Where did you see them $4.49?
Amanda – Oops! I’ve fixed the post.
Coupon spitter outer also gave me a $1/1 Kotex U coupon today. I always like those surprises.
I just tried to do the BioTrue coupong and it told me that “campaign complete” :(
Went to CVS this morning and I couldn’t find the 1oz Neutrogena tubes to make that deal a money-maker. Anybody else have any luck?
I haven’t had any luck :-( Called 3 different stores and none of them had it
I have been to 2 CVS in the east metro and didn’t find them either. I would be curious where they are as well!!!!
Prevacid $10/1 printable coupon is not available through your link…..would you tell me where can i get that
Sri – The coupon printed just fine for me. What came up when you tried to print it?
Bausch and Lomb – out of prints.
Has anyone had any luck finding the CVS pantiliners that are on sale this month? I was at CVS today and saw some for $.99 but not 2/$1.
I found them at the Anoka CVS, I had looked at he CVS in Rogers but it doesn’t appear that they have them on special 2/$1 they are $.99 and no reward bucks.
Kris – It’s quite possible that the promotion was through last week and not the end of the month (that happens sometimes). I went to two CVS’s yesterday and forgot to check. Whenever I see come across a deal like this one, I scan a package at the price scanner/coupon spitter outer and see what it tells me.
Has anybody found the Neutrogena 1.99 tubes of sun care at any CVS? I am not sure these even exist…have been to 2 CVS locations and as far as I can see, no spot for them. Thanks!
I haven’t found them either – they are not available at the Apple Valley or Rosemount CVS.
