Like they do every year to celebrate National Cheesecake Day, the Cheesecake Factory is selling a slice of their amazing dessert for $1.50 per slice, at the end of July. This year is a little different though, in that you’ll need to like The Cheesecake Factory on Facebook, then allow Facebook to run an application in order to print your personalized coupon. On the 29th you’ll bring the coupon and a photo ID along to get the discount.
If you aren’t on Facebook, but still want to get in on a deal, then all their cheesecake slices will be half priced on July 30, no coupon required.
Normally I don’t share on day only/date specific deals this far in advance, but I’m not sure if The Cheesecake Factory will make this coupon available all the way up until the 29th or if, after a certain number of prints, they will take it offline. That to say, if there’s even a remote chance that you’ll go, then print yours while you can. We will remind you of the event as the day approaches.
Two years ago my family ate lunch at The Cheesecake Factory when desserts were $1.50 per slice. We beat the lunch rush by a few minutes and were seated quickly, but by the time we left I think the wait was well over 90 minutes. Hopefully, they are trying to do a little bit of crowd control by requiring folks to bring a coupon, since it used to be a no-coupon-required event, and limiting it to Facebook fans.
Your turn: Have you gone to The Cheesecake Factory in years past when they run their one-day sale in July?

I tried to “like” the site and it wouldn’t let me. I’m at the point where it is telling me I’m already “connected” but I can’t go any further. I guess I won’t get any cheesecake. Too bad, I haven’t had any for a while.
Oh, wait! I went back to the page and tried again…success!
I could be mistaken but I believe only certain varieties of cheesecake are $1.50
The 29th is a Facebook exclusive.
