2010 Entertainment Books: $1 Each After Rebate + Free Shipping (Exp 8/2)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Update: So I wrote this, then got into writing some other posts and figured I’d order my books in a bit. Guess what? The books for the Twin Cities are already sold out :( Other cities are still in stock, so check for your area and hopefully you can get in on this deal.

It’s time for the final clearance on 2010 Entertainment Books with them selling 2 for $10 with free shipping. In and of itself, that’s a fabulous deal. It is even better though, if you make your purchase through the Cashbaq shopping portal. When you shop through Cashbaq (directions below), then you’ll pay $10 for the two books, but earn $8 back into your Cashbaq account. That makes the books $1 each + free shipping. If it’s your first time creating a Cashbaq account, then you’ll get a $5 bonus and actually make money after automatic rebate by purchasing these.

Ummm…this is a no-brainer deal in my world as we use a lot of the coupons, including an $8 off for our favorite Greek restaurant, $7 off at our favorite pizza place, and buy one (very expensive) brunch buffet, get one free valued at $25 (have I told you that Sunday brunch is a regular Rocha family indulgence…anyway, back to the deal). So for a buck each, I’ll get a book full of coupons and I know that we’ll definitely use those three, worth $40. In fact, just yesterday we used a coupon for a delicious Greek restaurant and spent $10.26 for two huge lunch entrees with enough of the world’s most delicious hummus to bring home and use as dip with our carrots and celery during morning snack time.

***Deal idea***
Entertainment Books $5.00 (Must buy 2 to get sale price)
Buy 2 through Cashbaq
Spend $10, get $8 automatic cash rebate in your Cashbaq account + another $5 automatic rebate into your Cashbaq account if it’s your first time registering with Cashbaq
Final price: Better than free after sale, first-time registrant bonus, and automatic rebate from Cashbaq

What’s Cashbaq?

Cashbaq is an online shopping portal where you create an account, then visit it first as a springboard for all your favorite online shopping destinations. You get a $5 cash bonus credited to your account when you sign up, then you earn cash back with every purchase you make through the portal. When your account has a balance of $10 or more, then Cashbaq will send you a check. Think of it like an automatic rebate for which you don’t have to fill out any paperwork.

You will typically see Cashbaq credit in your Cashbaq account within a few days of your purchase. Right now, the good folks at Cashbaq are saying their system is a little slow issuing credits for this hot deal, but have patience as you’ll see them within a week or so. (Not that the timing really matters since checks are cut just once per month)

All this talk of food and deals is getting me hungry, plus I gotta run to go buy me some coupon books (intentional use of poor grammar)

Your turn: How many books did you buy?

So sad….MN books are sold out. ;(

  2. Stacy says:

They have been sold out for a while now. But you can still get them for other States if your going to be traveling.

  3. Lisa says:

Trying to buy one for our vacation destination. How do you get free shipping? It’s trying to charge me $1 per book.

    • Carrie Rocha says:

The email they sent me said this “Get two 2010 Entertainment Books for $10 with Free Shipping! Offer valid 7/14 – 8/2.” which makes me think you shouldn’t have to do anything special to get the free shipping. Hmmmm…

  4. Lisa says:

Weird. Well I just ordered mine, paid the $2 shipping, but I figured since I just created the new account on cashbaq.com, I’m still making money. Plus, in the comments on cashbaq, somebody had copied an e-mail from customer service, and they mentioned the $2 shipping in there too. So I’m ok with paying it. :)

  5. Karie says:

Has anybody tried out their Nationwide Online program? It’s $30 OR $4.95 per month. It says you access to all the coupons online throughout the nation….just need a computer with a printer. Seems like a good deal if you’re going on a road trip to have it for a month.

  6. Kristina says:

Just purchased 2 of the WI books. We have family that live there and we travel there often. I paid $2 in shipping too but I still made a dollar with signing up to Cashbaq. Thanks!
