Yippee! I just bought covergirl at Target today using the buy one-get a free eyeshadow plus a target and a mf coupon to boot. I spent just 1.14 for a mascara and an eyshadow but it will be worth over 6$ toward my rebate.
YEAH!!!! Super excited…got a TON of items (just added up my receipts and I already have my $30 and then some) from over the last few weeks using the great coupons out there doubled up!!
I looked thru my old receipts too and found one for Cover Girl from the early July. Nice! I’m excited to go thru my coupons and see what I have for Olay, etc and where I can get the best deals – Walgreens, Ulta… It’s nice that the rebate gives us 2 and a half months to buy this stuff.
Just an FYI, you need the UPC number off of the packages. I had bought some things in the last few weeks that I can’t use now because I have already thrown away the packaging. Oh well! Just wanted to let people be aware of that.
I wonder if you could google the product to find the UPC code. I don’t think there’d be anything wrong with that since you obviously purchased the product since you have the receipt.

You can also write down the UPC for those items the next time you are at the store since you already bought them and have the receipt.
I have a general question about rebates….
Can you photocopy your original receipt to send in?
I purchased several items at Target yesterday that are eligible for this rebate, but I also have items on the same receipt that I may need to return (gifts) and items that are eligible for the Con Agra rebate.

Jeannie – Most of the time, photocopies of receipts are not allowed. You should always check the individual rebate form to see if they accept copies. I try to purchase items for rebate in separate transactions so that I don’t have to deal with multiple rebate issues and such, but I sometimes forget.
At Target, the Olay Regenerist Facial Wash is $6.04 (depending on the store) and I used the B1G1 free coupon and a $5 off Olay Regenerist from the P&G Year of Savings booklet plus a $1 Target coupon from the 6/27 PG Target insert to get them for $.04. If you had a $3 off coupon, you could use 2 Target coupons for $.50 each. You can also use this on the Olay $20 rebate that is going on right now.
