Hello everyone – Laura here.
I just wanted to let you know that the shopping lists for Cub Foods, Rainbow Foods/Copps/Pick N Save, and Target may be late this week as Carrie’s 17-month-old daughter Olivia is currently in the hospital with croup (at least they think that’s what it might be). Carrie and Marco took Olivia to the emergency room earlier today and found out that she (Olivia) will probably have to stay overnight. Obviously Carrie will be staying overnight in the hospital with Olivia, too.
So, in case you were wondering why the other shopping lists aren’t up yet…that’s why. We hope you understand and are OK with the (hopefully slight) delay. Thanks so much for your continued support and for being an excellent community of readers!

Oh my gosh I am so sorry to hear that!! As everyone has said before me, family comes first! I pray that Olivia recovers quickly and you have your little girl back in your arms soon.
If nothing else, this just shows all of us what a blessing you are in our lives – we understand and appreciate your commitment to your family.

Oh dear, so sorry to hear this Rocha family. Croup is the pits, but I hope just knowing that now someone else is helping care for her is a relief to you and to Olivia. Take care, you are in my prayers.

I hope healing comes soon. I did email Carrie a PIck’n Save listing from the Milwaukee area last night from the contact page, if it will help. Minnesota deals do differ some from Milwaukee/Wisconsin. Minnesota is a bit better, usually.
Praying that little Olivia improves quickly and that Carrie also takes some much deserved time to recover. Family is a blessing from above.

We are home now, Olivia is napping, we’ve picked up her prescription and I am sitting down at my desk to work on getting caught up. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. Give your kids an extra big squeeze today for me, as I am keenly aware of how absolutely precious they are. The worst of this bout is over and she is on the mend. Now we all need to get caught up on sleep – I got 4 hours on Saturday night after a long day of editing my video for the Oprah submission and not much more yesterday, although I caught a morning nap at the hospital. Getting some work done now will be therapeutic for me :)
