Are you still searching for a gift/craft idea for your kids to make for Dad for Father’s Day? Michaels is offering two free events today and Saturday for your kids to work on different projects for Dad. Here’s a list of free family events happening in June and July at Michaels stores as part of The Knack program:

June 17 from 6-8pm – Make a Father’s Day Duck Tape Wallet. Yes, duck tape. Ages 6-12 only.

June 19 from 10am-2pm – Kids ages 3 and up can make a Father’s Day Card.

June 26 from 10am-2pm – Work on a 4th of July Project with the family, ages 3 and up.

July 30 from 1-8:45pm – Teacher Appreciation Crop Event**
**Not for kids, but a good opportunity for teachers to learn how to create fun bulletin boards, bookmarks, signs and more.

July 31 from 10am-2pm – Summer Fun with Crayola Black Markers for ages 4 and up.

All projects are available while supplies last. There are other events available throughout June and July that require the purchase of some materials. You’ll need to sign up to become a member of The Knack before participating in any events, but it’s free and can be done online and undoubtedly in the store, as well.

Your turn: Have you ever gone to Michaels for craft time before? What did you think of it?
