Marcus Theatres: Kids Rule Summer Film Series

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

The Marcus Theatres Kids Rule Summer Film Series will run from June 23rd through August 12th on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tickets are $2.75 each, which is a little higher than the free or close-to-free deals we’ve found at other theaters, but popcorn is included in the price of these tickets and the movies shown are slightly more current.

All movies start at 10am, but be sure to get there early as these will probably fill up quickly. The film series starts tomorrow (Wednesday, June 23) with How to Train Your Dragon.

Marcus Theatres has more than 50 locations in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Don’t forget that there are other kids movie showings this summer at AMC Theaters, Cinemark Theatres, Muller Family Theatres, and Regal Theatres; plus, browse the Summer 2010 tag for more ideas on activities you can do.

(A big thanks to Coupon Dude, Kristen, and Shauna for sharing this deal with us in the comments.)

Your turn: Which of these film series are you planning to go to with your kids?

Went to the movie on Wednesday – 1 adult, 5 kids and baby – got popcorn and cup of water for everyone for $16.50! Not free, but still a good deal and a lot of fun. Went in Elk River and it filled up so they opened a second theater for the overflow.
