We like going down to St Anthony Main, Friday and Saturday nights live music on the deck between Tuggs Tavern and VICS restaurant. If you want to spend a little, have a soft drink, lemonade, whatever at Tuggs. If not, just hang out on a bench along the street there, go across to Water Power Park, walk along the river, across the stone arch bridge, reflect on the fact that St Anthony Falls is the reason that Minneapolis exists where it does.
Every Wednesday and Thursday, beginning June 23rd, Marcus Theaters are having a Kids Rule Summer File Series. Movies are $2.75 + free popcorn! The Rosemount theater is starting with How to Train Your Dragon on the 23rd. Movies start at 10 a.m. and the manager of the theater said that the theater opens at 9:30. They show it in 2 theaters, but he said it DOES fill up fast. Enjoy!
