Osseo Outdoor Movies in the Park. Go to Boerboom Park off of Central Avenue on Tuesday nights this summer to see various movies for free. Plus, some nights there will also be musical performances before (or in place of) the movie, including Lorie Line on August 10. Check out the full schedule on their Facebook page. “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” starts tonight at 7pm.

Muller Family Theatres is offering a free summer film series on Wednesdays at 10am. The series runs from June 16 to August 11 and is sponsored by Subway. Depending on the theater you go to, you may need to pick up tickets at your local Subway restaurant. I recommend calling ahead to see when your theater opens because seating is first-come, first-served. Muller Family Theatres has locations in Delano, East Bethel, Lakeville, Monticello, Rogers, Waconia, White Bear Township, and Willow Creek. (Thanks, Jelynn and Shannon!)

U of M Free Rowing Camps. Kids ages 10 and older can learn to row for free this summer on the Mississippi River. Camps are sponsored by the Golden Gopher Rowing Team and the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board. Applications are due Friday, June 18, and campers will be selected by lottery. Camps are held the week of July 5-9 from 8:45-10:45am. For more information, download the Rowing Camps brochure here.

Twins Half-Off Dining Deals. You can purchase $50 gift certificates to Twin Cities restaurants for only $25 on the Twins Dining Deals website. Every time the Twins start a new series, a new restaurant will be featured. To find out which restaurants will be featured in the future, just check out the Twins Dining Deals website.

Marcus Theatres also runs a summer movie series for the kids. It’s not free, but relatively cheap and the movies are much more current. http://www.marcustheatres.com/Promotion/PromotionDetail/5/

“Join us Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 am from June 23rd through August 12th to view your favorite family flicks for just $2.75 in honor of our 75th Anniversary! Popcorn is included, so grab the family and head to your nearest participating Marcus Theatre® location!”

Also, don’t forget about “Kids Bowl for Free” at http://www.kidsbowlfree.com. They have several bowling alleys that are listed so there should be one near you….since it’s raining a lot lately- it’s a nice alternative.
