IHOP and Denny’s are both offering freebies through Facebook promotions right now.

IHOP
Sign up for the IHOP Pancake Revolution on Facebook to receive two free meals a year. You’ll get one just for signing up, one on your birthday each year, and one on your anniversary of signing up each year. Here’s how to find an IHOP near you.
I’m not sure if you need to “like” them on Facebook or not, but you can access the form without “liking” them, if you want.
Denny’s
Create an e-card for your dad for Father’s Day on Denny’s Facebook page and you’ll get coupons good for two free ice cream floats – one for you and one for dad. Look under the “Card Maker” tab and be prepared to run a small software application to do it.
Pocket Your Dollars
Don’t forget that Pocket Your Dollars is on Facebook, too! I am on the fan page all the time, sharing which media interviews and segments I am doing, where I am speaking and hanging out with the 8,000+ fans.
Your turn: How often do you and your family go to IHOP or Denny’s? (Personally, now that I have figured out how to make Nut and Whole Grain pancakes at home I crave their food less frequently.)

I love IHOP, but we don’t have one in Rochester. I bought a book called Top Secret Restaurant Recipies (Amazon $10.88) and it has the IHOP Country Griddle Cakes recipie in it. I can make them for a lot less at home. Also has Denny’s, Applebee’s, TGI Friday’s and lots more great recipies to make at home.
I enjoy visiting Denny’s periodically for their Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast. I get to choose the items that I want instead of having to work with a pre-made list and/or request substitutions. Also, they’ve added some healthy options such as turkey bacon, chicken sausage, and a fruit cup. The Maplewood restaurant recently remodeled and looks very nice.
A friend shared that there is a discount (20%?) for AARP members. You also get free pancakes on your birthday (regardless of age).
