Free After Rebate: Corn Flakes Simply Cinnamon

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

This evening I was shopping with a friend at Walmart, when I noticed a box of Corn Flakes Simply Cinnamon with a “Try Me Free” mail-in rebate offer advertised on the front of the box. You’ll need to mail in the form, the UPC code from the box and your receipt to get your money back. The best part, if you use a coupon like this $1 off 2 boxes of Kellogg’s cereals, this will be a small moneymaker after the rebate.

I didn’t pick one up tonight, because I plan to check my local grocery that requires me to spend a certain dollar amount before they double my coupons. If I can find a box there, then I’ll grab one so it helps me more easily reach my “spending threshold” for coupon doubling.

Your turn: Did you spot these specially marked boxes at your store?

I liked those Touch of Honey corn flakes that Kellogg’s was making for a while. I think they have stopped production on those. The honey just added enough sweetness, but not too sweet. I wish they’d make them again. If anyone has seen these anywhere, please let me know. I just finished up my last box from my stockpile.

Picked some up at the EP Rainbow today…was 2/$5.00 had $1 off 2 coupon…so $3.00 for 2 boxes. Not great but with the Try me Free Rebate I will get 2.50 back so it will be out of pocket .50 for 2 boxes (plus stamp)..thats .25 each. Can’t complain!

  3. I liked the Touch of Honey flakes too. Kellogg’s, are you listening? :-)
Willing to try the Simply Cinnamon, though, too!

Don – Most rebates take 8-10 weeks to process, so I’m not surprised you haven’t heard back yet, If a few more weeks go by, then I’d advise you to contact Kellogg’s to check on your rebate’s status.

  5. Ed says:

I sent in my information quite a while ago probably late August and have heard or gotten nothing. Contacted Kellogs last week and nothing from them

Any idea on how to contact anyone?

Clicked to find the coupon and it isn’t there anymore?
