Apple retail stores are holding Apple Camp again this summer. Apple Camp is a free workshop in which kids use iLife and iWork applications to make a movie, compose a song, create a photo book, and more. Recommended for kids ages 8-12.
This summer, Apple Camp is a three-day event (1-1.5 hours/day) in which kids will learn the ins and outs of iMovie in order to create their own film from start to finish, finishing with a Film Festival for invited parents, relatives, and friends on Day 3.
Registration is open now, so if this is something that interests you, be sure to register here!
Here’s a list of Apple retail store locations. For our Minnesota readers, there are Apple stores located in the Mall of America, Southdale, Ridgedale, and Rosedale Center.

Your turn: Has your child participated in an Apple camp before? What did he or she think of it?

My son attended Apple Camp last year at the Apple Store in Portland, Maine. It was wonderful and he had a terrific time. The staff teaching the camp were enthusiastic, patient, encouraging and fun. What a great offering!
Thanks for this… Just signed up my two kids.
