Need a super affordable, but nice Father’s Day gift idea? Or, do you have a dad that owns everything a man could want, but yet you want to give a gift? A Dinner of the Month Club subscription from Restaurant.com might be the answer.
Here’s what it is and how it works:
— You buy a gift subscription for a 3, 6 or 12-month package. Right now you take 80% off Restaurant.com’s everyday low price when you use the code SAVE at checkout (code expires June 10). You’ll pay for the subscription in one lump today, but it works out to $2 per month when you use the SAVE coupon code.
— Then, for each month of the subscription the Dinner of the Month Club recipient selects any $25 Restaurant.com certificate (really it’s a $25 off coupon that does require a minimum pre-coupon purchase total usually of $35) for any restaurant nationwide.
— The Dinner of the Month Club recipient eats out for less, thinks of you, and doesn’t bring any new knick knacks or tools into the house, which is a beautiful thing for many of us :)
Another idea is to buy a Dinner of the Month Club subscription for yourself. Why would you do that? See, Restaurant.com restocks their dining coupons on the first of the month, so that is when you have the greatest selection. However, they don’t typically release 80% coupon codes until at least a week into the month, when the most popular restaurant coupons are already gone. By buying a Dinner of the Month Club subscription you can choose your dining coupon at the start of a month, but have purchased the coupon at 80% off. Get it?

I tried to apply my $25 gift certificate from Shop at Home to do this, but it did not work. Does anyone know if this is possible? I didn’t see anywhere that it wasn’t allowed, but also couldn’t figure out how to make it work. Thanks!!
