Update: Listen to this email that I got from a reader. I am happy to know that deals like this are a small part of something much larger. “I just place an order on Expressionery.com and wanted to share with you!! I am a 1 yr. breast cancer survivor and am planning on walking in the Twin Cities Komen for the Cure 3-day this August. I have been searching for some kind of notecard to send to all of my supporters and I found one on this website. I ordered 100 Survivor notecards personalized with envelopes. The clearance price was $72 before tax. My price after entering the code was $31 including tax, free shipping!! YEAH!!!!! I am so excited and can’t wait to get them!”

Good, cheap gift ideas are those that you wouldn’t know were cheap when you receive them. That makes the clearance merchandise at Expressionery.com the perfect candidate. Right now you can take an additional 60% off anything in their clearance section with the code DB2010 (good through 11:55 pm CST on 6/1). The best part though is free standard shipping on everything! Yay! I don’t like calculating shipping so I’m doubly happy with Expressionery.com (granted, it is a non-trackable, slow method of shipping, but heck it is free).
Personalized Note Cards for $7.28
I just mocked up a set of 25 personalized note cards and the total cost, including shipping, is $7.28 (72% off). Yeah, that’s probably what I’d pay at Target for a set of 25, but those would be generic and not nearly as suitable as a simple gift. Years ago a former co-worker gave me a set of personalized note cards for my birthday with a handmade card and I really appreciated the thoughtfulness. Now I can pay the thoughtfulness forward.
Who would these be perfect for? Graduates. It goes without saying that they’d be great for a graduate, assuming your graduate knows that you can send correspondence this old fashioned way. New bride. Perfect too for a bride that is eager to see her new name in print. Kids. How about your child’s birthday as you are working to teach him or her about sending thank you notes or writing letters to grandma? Grandparents. Maybe if they write to your kid’s a little more often your little ones will be inspired to write back? Volunteers. If you work or serve in a leadership capacity somewhere and coordinate a team of volunteers, whether helpers for your mom’s group, nursery teachers at church, or Cub Scout den leaders, think about getting each one a small token of your appreciation.
Who else would love a set of notecards?
Address Labels for $2.20
If you want to know what the lowest-priced option is, check out the labels. Some are marked with a red “Last Chance” and priced at $5.50 for 144. After the 60% discount they’d be $2.20 or $0.015/label. I need some Pocket Your Dollars address labels, so I’m glad to see these. You can also make labels with “Property of {child’s name}” to put inside your kid’s books or do something similar, but use a teacher’s name and give them as a gift.
What other creative uses do you have for the labels?
I will spare you a walk through of each category in Expressionery’s clearance section and let you get to perusing yourself.
Your turn: I am eager to hear what you saw that you liked and what you plan to do with the things you buy? I might not be able to disclose my treasures since many of the people I love are reading this :)

Thank you for this link! What a nice place to find gifts! (Is it too soon for stocking stuffers?)
Brenda – I loved all their stuff and literally, was so excited I’ve been waiting around for someone to comment about it so I didn’t feel so silly getting excited about paper products :)
If you have a shop at home account there is a 8% cash back on this website so it makes it an even better deal! Just placed my order thanks for the info…..
