Get the World’s Cutest Long-Sleeved Baby Bibs & Giant Burp Clothes

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

If you’ve seen my kids eat, then you can vouch for the fact that they wear some of the cutest, and most functional, bibs around. They are handmade by my mom, long-sleeved, turtleneck-collared bibs with pockets that are like a shield of armor against food that would stain their clothes. The cute part is that each one has an appliqué on it that coordinate with the color of the terry cloth. We get positive comments from nearly every waiter when we eat out and moms and grandmas stop by our table to ask where we got the bib. (Disclaimer: The bib does not stop my daughter from running her messy hands through her curly hair though or rubbing her chili-filled hands on her socks. We’ve yet to solve that problem)

Good news! My mom, the talented sewer behind the bibs, has launched an Etsy site where she sells them, kid not included :) I’d love for you to check them out, buy some for yourself or a grandchild, but also consider them as a shower gift (baby shower, not bridal shower…that’s a note for you overly-excited-I-can’t-wait-to-be-a-grandparent-parents-of-the-bride and groom).

While you’re on Penny’s Bibs, Burps and Beyond Etsy site, browse the burp clothes too. They are much larger and sturdier than anything I’ve seen elsewhere. Plus, they also have a nice big pocket to keep your back from being speckled with baby spit up (pleasant image, I know).

I share this with all of you, even though the bibs and burps are full-priced, because she’s my mom and I want to support her in this endeavor. She was laid off in February and has been working to get this launched since then.

Your turn: Which appliqué design do you like the best? Which burp cloth print do you like? The ones pictured are my favorites.

Thanks Carrie ~ I’ve been waiting to see them!

  2. Sarah K. says:

I received some bibs similar to the pocket bibs your mom makes and I loved them! My little guy has a noggin’ that’s off the charts though, and they don’t fit anymore! :(

I love these bibs! We have some towel bibs, very similar to the pocket bibs and they are our favorite. I just ordered a pocket bib and ultimate bib for my messy 19 month old… we have the food in the hair problem as well… hopefully this will solve the 5 changes of clothes a day from spaghetti on the elbows! I also ordered a pocket bib for a family member who just had a baby. I got the dino bibs, I think it is too cute and good for a boy or a girl!

To Sarah K and the others – Thanks for the wonderful comments about the bibs. I just want to mention that the bibs don’t pull over the child’s head but drape over the shoulders and down their back and are slit all the way up the back. There 1 1/2 inch velcro strip at the top of the opening so the neck size is adjustable. No problem getting it on and off any size child and no getting food in the hair.

    To Penny,
Would you by chance make and sell adult bibs?

Tonna – Your timing is impeccable as my mom just took her things down for a few days at the end of September to regroup. I’ll have her email you some photos and if you want something she’ll coordinate it with you.
