It’s definitely the week for Nature Made Vitamins, as there were about a bazillion coupons for them in yesterday’s inserts and there are buy one, get one free deals at both CVS and Walgreens this week. In addition to those deals, you can sign up for three different samples of Nature Made Vitamins through the following links:
These free samples are great (and often come with high-value coupons), but if you are anything like me, you don’t really know which vitamins you should be taking (but shhh…don’t tell anyone I said that, as it’s not cool to admit that you are vitamin illiterate).
If you register with Nature Made (use your junk email address to do so), then they’ll email you and you can do a little vitamin assessment that will give you a customized vitamin recommendation.

I was just going to comment, I have done lots of research on different vitamins and nature made are just about the best quality of the selection at the store.
I have noticed nature made seem to give coupons and discounts for the fish oil and the coq10, quite a bit but have never seen buy one get one for the multi vitamins… I was just curious if you have seen coupons or deals for the mulit vitamins? This would be a great deal so I could pick up for both me and my husband and save a huge amount…
Stacy – I haven’t, but I have a question for you. I have searched the web high and low for a report or site that compares different brands of vitamins – whether they contain the stated dosage, kinds of fillers they use, etc. I have some brands in particular that I am curious about (since I don’t want to mention great vitamin deals on vitamins that are no good). Any ideas?
I take a daily multi vitamin and I also take 2000iu of vitamin D. My vitamin D level was way below the normal range when my Dr. did a blood test. Being I live in MN and the long winters I don’t get enough sun exposure. I am also suppose to be taking a fish oil but I hate the gross after taste. Hopefully these will be better than ones I have tried in the past.
Be careful with fish oil and make sure they are mercury free. I was told by my Dr. that you want to make sure you look for that when buying. I have perscription D as living in MN doesnt always give you the sun you need. I like Nature’s Made and take tne biotin and zinc. I too have not taken the fish oil yet but know it is a good idea.
Carrie~ I am a worrier,so my basic rule is I like vitamins that have no artificial colors,or preservatives. Some supplements participate in the DSVP program *Dietary supplement verification program ,and the seal will be right on the product. They are a non profit public health organization that does independant studies on the product.
you can go to their website and get lots of valuable information.
I have always felt because there is no “regulated” standard for which vitamins companies have to meet, I feel the DSVP is the best bet of a quality product.
Thanks!
I take a multi energy vitamin, ACAI berry, B6 & B12. All CVS brand the BOGO is an awesome deal!!
