Target Shopping List 4/25 – 5/1/10

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Dear readers, if you haven’t heard through the Pocket Your Dollars Facebook fan page, I have been under the weather. I’m on my way into the doctor this morning as I suspect a sinus and/or ear infection. All that to say, focusing my eyes on the computer is a little more difficult than normal today. As a result, I am not putting together a Target list this morning, but instead going to encourage you to check out Marcie’s list at Stretching a Buck.

I will be back in full force later today, hopefully. In the meantime, Laura has been doing a fabulous job holding down the fort for all of us. She stayed up late last night helping some things and is picking up some slack for me today. Thank you Laura!

I trust you will be understanding because you are a very kind group of people. I appreciate your graciousness.

The two upsides, if there are some (and I am always an optimist) are that I got 10+ hours of sleep two nights in a row and made some homemade turkey and wild rice soup yesterday. I canceled an early morning radio spot I was slated to record so I could sneak in a few extra zzzzz’s, which is the first media appearance I have not fulfilled since starting Pocket Your Dollars. With leftover soup in the fridge there are no worries about what we’ll eat for lunch today. That’s my silver lining.

Your turn: What other Target deals did you spot this week?

The GE Reveal bulbs are actually FREE if you use the $1.50/1 Target coupon and the $1/1 Manufacturer coupon. They were listed as being $4 on that other blog, but they are actually $2 on sale in the ad.

Re: GE Light Bulbs, they are $4 in my ad so be sure to double check b/c it sounds like the sale varies by location.

don’t forget those great target coupons we got as an insert in the Mlps. paper. That makes the icecream deal $1.19 a piece. the site Carrie referred us to must not have had this insert

  12. JIll says:

I guess that site didn’t even list the ice cream deal anywhere:

    Breyers, 1.5 quart or Ben & Jerry’s Pints $2.79
$1.50/2 Breyers, Target Coupon regional 4/25
$1.50/2 Ben and Jerry’s, Target Coupon regional 4/25

Buy 5 Frozen Treats $2.79 each
    Use 2 $1.50/2 Target coupons
Pay: $10.95, Receive $5 Target Gift Card
Final Price: $1.19 each, when you buy 5
without Target coupons, your final price will be $1.79 each

    Hope you are feeling better!!!

  14. Jill B says:

I did a Ziploc (slider bag) deal yesterday at Target- They are on sale for 2.27, use the bogo coupon and if you get coupons texted to you from Target, there’s a 1.00 coupon in there, also. Plus, I just discovered a rebate link Carrie has on another target page (5.00 back, Ziploc is included) http://www.scjohnson.com/Files/afc-rebate-form.pdf
Have fun! (and Carrie, rest!) :)

  15. Amanda says:

On the Kashi TLC bars – combine the Target printable ($1/3) with the Kashi printable ($1.50/2).

    Get better soon Carrie!

    • Kierstien says:

plus if you have the $1 off cpn for cereal or bars that was mailed out a few weeks ago would make it sweeter!

  16. v says:

REST and feel better SOON! You taught us well….we can fend for ourselves while you are away! :)

Just ran to target… couple deals I found.

The diaper deal is mix/match with huggies and pampers, so i got two packs pampers 1 huggies. used a manf coupon for each and two target coupons. (a $3 off and two $2 offs, and two $1.5 off)they weren’t as cheap as i’ve got them before, but i needed diapers.

    also condiments:
frenchs mustard had a freebie attached to it, honey mustard dipping sauce. i had a 50cent off coupon (it was 1.32 full price)

kc masterpiece bbq sauce 1.42 full price, had $1 off coupon.

Lea n perrins worchestershire sauce. full price $2.54, and I just printed off a $2 internet coupon this morning.

also, aveeno lotion has a couple coupons out now that can be matched with their target coupon that came in the mail.

as well as the gerber baby snacks, like the puffs, and munchies etc. there was a $2/$10 target mailer coupon, and then you match them with the gerber coupons from the mail (if you get those) and they are on sale most are 2/$4 or $4.5…

    feel better soon Carrie !

  18. Annette says:

I’ve found $1 off Ben & Jerry’s pints at various Holiday stores around the Twin Cities, making the ice cream deal a VERY good deal! I did it this morning with 2 B&J and 3 Breyers, using 2-$1 off coupons, the 2-$1.50 coupons and it worked out to be $3.95 or 79 cents per item after Target gift card. Breyers has an awesome Heath ice cream which is sooooo good.

  19. Steph says:

There was a $2.00 Classico (red sauce) coupon in either Red Plum or Smart Source on 4/25, and they are on sale at Target for $1.99 right now. So that’s better than free!

  20. Rhonda says:

The Dove Coupon in this past Sunday’s circular makes for a free trial size Dove Deodorant.

  21. Tonia says:

Just got over something similar. Rest up and feel better!

  22. Lorrie says:

Bertolli is on sale for $1.84. Use the Red Plum coupon of $.60 off of 1. Target put out a coupon sheet in the 4/25 Star Tribune. In it is a Target coupon of $.75 off of 2.
    Final price, $1.17 each

    • Kierstien says:

if you got your hands on two of the .60 coupons it would only be .87each which is a rock bottom price!!!

Now I just have to get my hands on that Star Trib insert, lol!!!

  23. Alison says:

If you got an Aldi ad in this week’s paper but don’t have an Aldi near you, I’d suggest doing a price match at Target on their strawberries and avocados – those are seriously low prices ($1.19 for 1 lb strawberries, and 29 cents per avocado). I got 7 avocados for $2.03 at Aldi this week.

  24. lorrie says:

Thank you Kierstien, I am still new to this couponing thing and I didn’t even think about using 2 RP coupons. :)

  25. Kim N says:

Are you allowed to use 2 of the same coupons for just one product? I know you can use a store coupon and a mfg coupon together. I’m new to this too so I’m still trying to figure things out. Thanks!

    • Kierstien says:

You can use one manufacture coupon per item purchased. For example if you purchase 3 crest toothpaste you can use one coupon for each of the toothpastes meaning you can use 3 coupons total,I hope this makes sense! If not just ask!!! :)

  26. Claire says:

What’s all this talk about a Target coupon insert in the Star Trib? I don’t think I got one…

    • lorrie says:

It was a full sized apx 4 pages. I thought it was the ad at first but it was a coupon insert. The ad was in another spot. I thought it was Star Trib. But I buy 1 Star Trib and 1 Pioneer Press every week.

  27. Ruth says:

Thanks for the link, Carrie! I hope you are feeling better.

Could I do this for the Kashi deal: if I buy four boxes could I use two of the 1.50 off 2 manufacturer’s coupons plus one of the Target 1.00 off 3? I’m pretty new to this and still have a lot to learn!

  28. sally says:

Was the Target insert in the St. Paul paper? I get the Mpls. & didn’t see in there.

  29. Ruth says:

Thank you, Laura! I love Kashi and it is great to get such a good deal on them. I am armed with my lists and will be hitting the stores soon.

  30. Erin says:

Pair the $1/1 Hershey’s Bliss coupon from last Sunday’s paper with Target’s $1/1 web coupon for the same to get a bag of chocolate for $1.49.
