Science Museum’s Dead Sea Scrolls: Moms Get in Free on Mother’s Day

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

If you’re located in the Twin Cities area and are looking for something to do on Mother’s Day to give a mom a treat, consider this: Moms get free admission to The Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition at the Science Museum of Minnesota on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, 2010.

Admission for Mom is free with any paid admission to the exhibition ($28 for adults and $22 for kids and seniors). The ticket price includes museum admission, The Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition, and a Dead Sea Scrolls audio tour. You have to pay at the box office to get your free ticket; this is not good for online ticket purchases.

Since admission to the exhibit is timed and dated, the Science Museum recommends that you make reservations in advance by calling (651) 221-9444. The Science Museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and is located at 120 West Kellogg Blvd in downtown St. Paul.

Your turn: What are you planning to do for Mother’s Day?

I was going to order online but I don’t see anything about the offer on the website?

Anita – Hmmm…It was the Science Museum themselves that emailed me the details of the deal. I’ll email my contact your feedback and we’ll see what we find out.

Anita/Carrie: I’m in Marketing at the museum; this offer is listed on our calendar of events (http://www.smm.org/calendar/), but you’ve covered all the the details in your post. Thanks for pointing this out to people, and hope to see you here on Mother’s Day!
