Photo freebies abound as we approach Mother’s Day.
Update: So sad that this code is not working for everyone as I had high hopes for making cards to give as a gift :(
12 free 4×5 stationary cards. Shutterfly will give you a set of 12 4×5 stationery cards when you use the code 12FREE at checkout. I haven’t seen free stationery like this before so I am really excited about it. Great for save the date occasions or, since I have no dates to save, for making personalized note cards for a friend that would be a great gift along with a nice ink pen. Expires April 29. You will have to pay shipping. (Thanks NW Coupon Connections)
Free photo book. Pixable is a new photo website where you can get a free 22-page 8.5″ x 5.5″ soft cover photo book when you use the code FREEPIX. The best part of Pixable is you don’t have to upload new photos, but can connect with your Facebook, Flickr and other social media accounts to use photos you, or your friends, already uploaded. Of course you can upload photos if you like, but it is super fast to use ones already on the internet somewhere. You’ll pay $2.99 for domestic shipping or can send it internationally for $4.99.
Free photo magnet. CVS Photo Center will give you a free 4″ x 6″ photo magnet when you use the code FREE4MOM at checkout. Have your magnet shipped to a store and it’ll be totally free. Download the Dirty/Clean image above to create a magnet for your dishwasher that will hopefully solicit more help in the kitchen (I’m not guaranteeing more help, but optimistically suggesting.) Save the image to your computer by right clicking, then selecting “Save as.” Upload it as the image you print on your magnet. Offer good through April 28.
New CVS Photo customers get 50 free prints and, if you won a free photo book in our CVS photo book giveaway last month (now expired), then order one this week while they are buy one, get one free to get two free books. (Thanks The Thrifty Mama)
Your turn: Which of these three do you like the most?

I ordered my free magnet but it notes that orders under $5 are charged a $1.49 service fee…is that true? Do we pay that when we pick up the magnet? I haven’t ordered from CVS photo before, thanks!
I went ahead and ordered a CVS magnet noting the $1.49 business and “paying at the store”. I’m (wishfully) thinking this is in place only to prevent people from ordering just a couple 4×6′s. I’ll comment back after I pick it up to let you know if this applies to the post-promo total.
I also tried to order the free cards from shutterfly.com but it says that you cannot combine discounts and the cards are on sale for 20% off…so now what? Help please!
Super bummer on the stationery card promo code. I had high hopes of making a set of cards to give as a gift, but since the code isn’t working for everyone I updated the post to reflect that. My gift-giving hopes are dashed…oh well.
I also tried to do the cards and it wont let me add the promo code. I went to the orginal website ( nwcoupon) and some lady posted that she got an email from a shutterfly rep that said this promo code was account specific, meaning you would have had to recieve an email to get the promo?? I dont know I am bummed. I even designed the cards and everything :( Hopefully it will work eventually!
I couldn’t get the Shutterfly cards to work either. I believe it’s because the code “12FREE” was sent to specific email addresses to be used with their accounts only. I’ve received similar offers from them in the past that my friends have not – and when they tried to use the code I was sent, they got an error. Bummer!
I orderd the book for only $2.99 from Pixable. You can use photos from Facebook and pictures from anyone of your Facebook friends accounts. It was really easy. It will be a Mother’s Day gift for my Mother in Law.. Put pics of all the greandkids! Yay!
Jeff,
I too haven’t ordered from CVS, but I am assuming since I clicked the pay at store option that we will take care of the $1.49 there when we pick up the order. I didn’t see anywhere else to pay once the pay at store button was clicked. Good luck!
Shoot. The CVS promo has expired (even though its not after the 28th). I loved the magnet idea!
I wanted to order a magnet but CVS code is expired, bummer…..
for the photobook I can’t use the code is anyone else having this problem?
I tried the photo magnet, too, and it’s expired, even thought it’s only the 27th today!
ordered this photo book, but never received and now I see my credit card has been charged. E-mailed them and we’ll see what happens.
