Update: Another section of Save 50% on Your Groceries Without a Coupon File Box has been added in May and a new class, Advanced Grocery Savings, added for June.
Who knew that when I shared my upcoming media and speaking schedule with you, that I’d get a flood of new speaking requests and questions from readers like, “where are you teaching classes again?” So, by popular demand I am re-posting my spring 2010 public speaking schedule without media appearances.
Course summaries are listed below followed by information on where classes will be held and how to register.
I also welcome your requests for other public or private speaking engagements. I enjoy community ed classes, but particularly enjoy training in a business environment. Companies that have less money for raises and bonuses (who doesn’t?), but want to positively impact the financial well-being of their employees invite me to come. I teach their staff about getting out of debt and stretching a buck with grocery saving techniques. General Mills, my largest corporate client, continues to invite me back again and again as their staff soak up the practical things I share.
Additionally, I speak to a lot of church and mom’s groups that are interested in teaching families to better steward their finances. Email me if you are interested, as I’d love to meet you!

I look forward to seeing you and meeting you very soon!

Thank you for posting this Carrie! I will defnitely be at the Anoka class. I hope to learn more from you and share it with my “couponers”! Maybe I can even get a few to come with me.
Keep up the great work Carrie! You are grately appreciated!
I really want to come to Bridging the Gap, but unfortunately, I am scheduled to teach a class of my own on Saturday afternoon. I could not find specifics about the breakouts on their web site. Do you know what you’ll be teaching in the morning one?
I would love to have you come to Duluth. Do you have any plans that you didn’t list to get up north? When you speak to Church groups do you charge? I love your website and my husband has enjoyed “shopping” with me since he sees how much I get for so little money. I’d love to share this with more people.
Jaime – I have not yet been invited up north, but would certainly be willing to come. I do charge church groups. Email me through the contact form and we can talk specifics so you can present the idea to your church.
How about coming to some of the cities closer to Minneapolis? St Louis Park, Hopkins and Golden Valley all have fabulous Community Ed classes. I know many people who frequent your website and would LOVE to hear you in person. Please consider expanding your area of speaking engagements.
Sue – I’m happy to speak whereever I am invited. Hook me up with an invite and I’ll glad come closer into the core cities :)
I will see what I can do. I will find out who to contact at community education and get them to contact you.
Carrie-is the class at maple grove high school like the class you spoke to at a church-group of women in dec.? I was at that one and am wonderingvif there is like a basic’s 2 class?
PJ – These classes are similar to the one you attended. I hope to do some “Advanced Grocery Savings” classes in the fall.
I was wondering if the class information is the same at the different locations? The Osseo community ed class is $10 more than the Anoka County community ed class. Big difference in price if the content is the same.
thank you!
I would love to see if we could get you to speak at our church in Pease, MN. Could you email me a little info on how to go about getting you to come and what the cost would be about? I would like to have some info to bring forward when making the request. Thanks Carrie.
Hi Carrie, did you recently speak at General Mills? I work there but only on M/W and was bummed to miss you. Are you going to speak again?
Thanks! And I LOVE this website. My husband is AMAZED at how much money we are saving!!
Lisa – I was at General Mills doing some general speaking and am going to do a series at the Riverside location soon. Not sure when I’ll be up next at the headquarters. I am checking in with my contact at the end of the month and will hopefully get a next batch scheduled then.
Great – I would love to hear you at Riverside if they are opening up to other GMI employees…
Thanks!
Lisa
Just got my Community Ed booklet in the mail and so excited that you are coming to Owatonna in April! I will definately be at both classes!
Carrie–Have you considered taping your media events and selling them to those of us who live toooooo far away to attend any of your classes?
